Since I was up pretty late last night, woke up a little later than the 'usual' lateness. :P Naomi started working on getting Maki's computer ready for her coming tomorrow (hurray) so I watched a Hugh Jackman movie. Wasn't as good as I'd hoped it to be; Hugh Jackman was REALLY cool but wasted in such a movie... Ok, I couldn't help but put this really nice picture I found of Hugh Jackman.

Since Naomi was still working even after the movie finished, I watched an episode of Moonlighting. It was another interesting episode where Bruce Willis gets to act. (Another picture of an actor I couldn't help putting up...)

For lunch we had Japanese style food with salmon and gyoza. Very yummy, and I hadn't realized that I had missed rice so much! Watched an episode of Remington Steele; one I had seen before but enjoyed watching again.

Now it was time to clean because we didn't do 'cleanup' on Saturday. Since Maki'll be arriving tomorrow morning, I spent the next hour or so in my room doing this and that. Putting up a little shelf addition to the desk, making Maki's bed, wiping the floor, making room in the drawers, trying to get the air conditioner to not make so much noise... ^_^ A lot to do but it looks really nice now. For now Naomi set up Maki's computer on the desk but hopefully we'll get another desk in our room soon.

After I was done cleaning up, I did some stretches and dancing. I love the Fosse album I got yesterday so it was a lot of fun listening to all the Broadway songs. I've actually gotten just a little bit more flexible than when I left Japan. Someday in the far, far future, I shall do splits! (Of course, it's more like just a dream... :P)

Got a chance to talk to Daddy and Mommy quite a bit on the phone. Even got to 'talk' to Bianca and Sophie for a bit. I 'heard' Bianca sniffing VERY loudly into the phone; as for Sophie, I could just imagine her turning her head away. :P

Watched another episode of Moonlighting then just before 6:00, Naomi and I headed over to Kaimuki Christian Church for sign dance practice. Shirley was there leading and there were a few other familiar faces like Gay and Merci (Joe's wife). I forgot the name of the song we're just starting to learn but it's fairly simple compared to what we've done for our school project. :P There's quite a bit of musical interludes during the song so Shirley's asked me for help in choreographing something. It was so nice to be able to choreograph something; I miss doing that soooo much. I know I'm going to miss the times when I can just get Maria, Maki, Rie, and I together to do just some quick little dance or something. *sigh*

Anyway, Naomi and I left a little early so we could go shopping a bit at CompUSA. Had to get a few things for around the house and Maki's computer. Since I was getting pretty hungry by then it was almost 8 o'clock), we picked up Jack 'n' the Box and went straight home.

On the way, we picked up the movie Grease at blockbusters and watched it a home. I was actually a bit disappointed in it though I hadn't really had too high expectations of it in the first place. But I can understand how it's such a cult classic now; cool guys, cute chicks, fast cars, and finger-snapping tunes. I think what was the most disappointing for me however was the fact that though it was a hit musical play, the dancing wasn't really anything to talk about. Seriously guys, the dance we did of We Go Together had some more interesting choreography than the movie. I'm so proud of that dance, even more so now that I've seen the original! Anyway, the movie was stretching the PG rating by QUITE a bit so I cannot recommend for any of the younger kids to watch.

Had some delicious mint ice-cream for a late night dessert while doing some Mahjongg Challenge and listening to music. Got to chat with Meg and Maria just for a bit. They went to see a movie so I hope they enjoy it!

Maki'll be arriving tomorrow, woohoo! In her honor, here's a nice picture of Maki, Maria, and I at the Graudation Sunday.

Aaaah, nice pic of Hugh Jackman and Bruce Willis! Too bad that HJ movie wasn't too good. Hope your sign dancing goes well! And nice pic of us as well. ^_~

Since you all were doing the dance to the song, "We go together," recently I watched Grease again, and I definitely agree with you that the dance you all did was really nicer. Well, at least in my opinion :) Keep up the good work of choreographing!!!
