Today I only had one class in the afternoon so it didn't really count as a 'school day'. Naomi was kind enough to sew an extra curtain cloth to our curtain so it's very thick now. I could sleep in till like 9:30! ^_^ Went to bed late last night so it was nice being able to sleep in a bit (though I had woken up when Maki's alarm went off since she had a 8:00 ASL class).
I watched some tv then around 11:30 Naomi and I left for Costco. I was driving since I needed to have the practice. We stopped by the bank before going over to Costco. We ate Greek food for lunch before actually shopping; I had a gyros chicken sandwich (excellent!) and Naomi had a gyros plate. I love the food at this restaurant since I don't get to eat much Greek food in Japan.

After lunch, we shopped in Costco and I was able to buy the newely released four-DVD set, Poirot: The New Mysteries Collection. It includes the movies Sad Cypress, Death on the Nile, The Hollow, and Five Little Pigs. I don't remember seeing any of these movies except for Death on the Nile. Looking forward to watching them!
Drove back home and was able to relax a bit before heading off for my ballet class from 3:15 ~ 4:30. Today's class was a bit faster paced than last week's; we actually started releves and piques. They're not very difficult but when you do them at a fast beat, it's a little difficult. We also started a bit on our jumps from demi plie positions. :P
Talked with some of the other students after class then walked over to the Diamond Head Theatre so that I could sign up for dance lessons for the fall season. I'm thinking of taking Tap for Musical Theatre which is a class for teens and adults. The normal Tap classes are on Thursday so it might be a difficult for to take that class while doing college. The Tap for Musical Theatre lessons are on Saturday mornings which is better time-wise for me. So I'll see how that goes!
Naomi picked me up at DHT and I was totally exhausted when I got home. :P Ballet is a lot tougher than it looks, especially since we're completely focused on the exercises to strengthen our calves and turnouts. And our teacher wouldn't want us to break an ankle or something. :P
Maki and I hung all the laundry and got the rice ready for dinner (Naomi had gone to pick Erin up from her internship). I watched an episode of L&O while putting my feet up. Oooh... my feet....

For dinner we had raw salmon and sashimi from Costco for dinner. YUM! Naomi also bought a big bag of spinach so she made a garlicky spinach dish which I really liked. As a child I think I watched too many Popeye cartoons because I looooove spinach. ^_^
As soon as the dishes were washed and everything was put away, we had a 'meeting' in Maki's/my room. We discussed how we'll do the housework; who'll do what and how we'll separate the workload so that everyone gets to chip in with everything. It went well and ended with lots of laughter. ^_^
We all watched The Hollow and it was kind of sad because it isn't as good as all the other Poirot movies. The director was different and the whole style was very different, especially the camerawork. And on the overall, I didn't like the story because the whole story was centered

Before I head off to bed (tomorrow I don't have to get up early since my drum lesson with Joe was cancelled), I'm going to do something unique to finish my blog. I'll just end it! :D Good night! Have a great evening/morning (depending on when you're reading this). ^_^

Hope the whole Tap class thingy goes smoothly and you'll be able to take the classes you want! :D Oh yeah, I thought that the evil stepsister was pretty in "Ever After", though she was, well, evil. :P Too bad about it not being as good as others. Hope you enjoy the other Poirot movies!
