Lots of Shopping...

This morning I tried to stay in bed as long as I could. :P Yes, I know, very lazy of me but I've been waking up around 6:30 every morning for quite a while, and only dozing till 8:00 or so. I was able to stay in bed till close to 10:00. ^_^ Did the usual morning stuff; checking e-mails and such. Only seven more and I'll have 800 reviews for my Boromir, Thou Shall Live story! Many hurrays!

Naomi and I had prepared a package to send to our parents so we went driving to the post office to get that sent (Maki tagged along with us). We went by Jamba Juice which is a very popular smoothie drinks store. Maki had some sort of fruits smoothie while Naomi and I both had green tea smoothie. It was so-so; I think I'll get something 'fruity' next time.

Got home and wrote an outline for the next chapter for my story (so happy to have my little army colored notebook where I have EVERYTHING in it for my fanfiction). I wrote maybe one page then we all left for downtown to drop Erin off for her new internship job. Naomi, Maki, and I first went to Ross's where I was able to find some nice clothes: a light, black sweater/jacket, black pants, and a nice, 'wild' colored shirt. ^_^ I really like that shirt!

Next stop was Walmart. We were able to find curtains to put in our room (hopefully they'll help keep out the morning light a little bit longer than the past few days.) The curtains are of a plain, light blue color. A little thin but we'll see how it goes tomorrow morning. ^_^

I also found the PERFECT table with fold up legs which can go on my bed so that I can work more comfortably on the computer. I've been doing computer while on my bed and it's pretty uncomfortable. So now I can sit up with the laptop and mouse in comfortable reach! And the table is pretty large so I have lots of room to put pens and notes, books and other such things for easy reach.

We were getting pretty hungry by now (it was past 3:00 and we hadn't had lunch yet, still had been full from Jamba Juice) so we went to Ala Moana's food court. Maki and I shared a yummy Panda Express plate along with the egg-drop soup (doesn't the picture on the right look soooo good? :P)

Stopped by Kaka'ako Park and the view was simply beautiful! We walked around quite a bit; well, actually, Maki and Naomi were walking around. I WAS following them but was twirling, tap dancing, lifting my hands in the air, and overall just having a grand ol' time. ^_^ I couldn't help it! It was a beautiful day, the view was fantastic, and I was very happy.

Well, was happy for a bit but after driving around a lot, and when driving to pick Erin up from her internship, I was starting to feel very tired (as were Naomi and Maki I'm sure). Erin came out a little after 5:00 and we went straight home. First things first, Maki and I set up our curtains. Don't they look nice? I hope they work tomorrow morning... lol! It took a little while to figure out just how to put them up, but we did it safely without incident (just a few laughs)!

Next I got my little table set up and I LOVE it! I'm already very comfortable sitting on my bed, using the laptop on the table. Daddy came on chat I got to talk with him a bit. I'm excited to hear about a sign dance performance going to take place next month for the KCIS students! Good luck, I'll try to help long-distance all that I can! Just remember... is something goes wrong, it's not my fault. ^_^ lol! Just kidding! I know it's going to turn out perfect, just as it has all this time. Ok, maybe not perfect... kidding again!

Shirley stopped by the house and we showed her our demo DVD of the sign dance performance. She liked it a lot and it seems she wants to do I Can't Help Falling In Love! Well, we'll see how that turns out!

Naomi made curry for dinner so we had a feast. ^_^ Yum! Not quite as good as Mommy's curry but still very good! After clearing up the dishes, I watched an episode of The Closer which I had taped earlier today. An interesting show about 'the closer' (Kyra Sedgewick), people who are talented in interrogation and getting confessions from people. My first time to watch any of this new tv show but I found the episode mildly interesting. I'll have to see maybe one more episode to see if it's really interesting and keeps my attention or not.

Watched Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, my first time to watch this series based from the original Law & Order. It was a really intriguing plot, though a bit heart wrenching to watch since this series focuses on 'special victims', in this case two young brothers. I dunno, I still think the original Law & Order is more 'my type'.

Went back to my room and had a really nice audio chat with my father. I heard Bianca and Sophie bark a lot. :P Silly dogs...

Well, I'm off to take a shower and go to bed 'early' tonight. I have a little sore throat and I think I may have a little cold.

In closing, here are of my favorite Bruce Willis quotes from his various movies (because for some reason I was thinking about him today)(and I thought it would be fun to write down a few of my favorite Bruce Willis movie quotes)(Bruce Willis' lines are in bold) ^_^:

"Wipe that stupid grin off your face."
"This is the smartest grin I know!"

"Are you classified as human?"
"Negative, I am a meat popsicle."

"Yeah one more thing, uh... none of them wanna pay taxes again. [pause] Ever."

"Have you been followed at all during the last few days? Any suspicious phone calls? Any kind of surveillance at all? Anything?"
"Well, now that you mention it, I have, sort of, been feeling this burning sensation between my toes."

Lol, I LOVED those lines by Bruce Willis. Especially the "Negative, I am a meat popsicle" and the "burning sensation between my toes." one. :P Your little table looks very comfortable!

I know how it is like to have the sun coming into the room, too early. If you can remember, at first, my bedroom only had the bamboo blinds, because I was trying to have the ethnic-look, but when summer came, the sun was already up at 5 a.m. So I used to get up at that time and eventually had a very bad headache. Finally, when I couldn't stand it any longer, I went to buy curtains - also blue ones but I think thicker than yours. I put them behind the blinds and now every summer I do that. So I hope your curtains work for you :-)
