Naomi left to pick Erin up at the airport so it was just Maki and me left at home. We both went straight to our computers to check mail. I got a nice e-mail from Michelle Opitz and took the time to immediately reply. She lives in Hollywood so I made sure to ask her to tell me all about it. Maybe someday (if possible) I can go visit her! Nice dreams...

I made breakfast for Maki and myself; eggs, sausages, and toast, Yum! Went back to our room and soon after, Erin arrived! It's nice having her here; it's definitely more crowded compared to when it was just Naomi and me. ^_^ I was happy because she brought some things that I had asked her to bring back from Japan. Yay, more dvds and snacks!
For lunch, since I wasn't very hungry, I only had some leftover brought home from last night's dinner at the Thai restaurant. Maki and Naomi didn't seem very hungrey either as they only ate a little bit. Erin was a different story altogether... obviously she was pretty hungry as she had a whole plateful of leftovers and an assortment of fresh vegetables.
After lunch, Naomi, Maki, and I headed over to campus for Maki to *gasp!* take her placement test. At first, she couldn't take the test because she didn't have her UH number. Fortunately, we went over to Honda International Center and a lady helped us out because Walter was busy. ^_^ Lucky because she was so helpful and just said to head over to administrations to get the number. Simple! (annoying that we didn't get this done yesterday...) So, Maki now has her number so as soon as her TB holds are cleared, she can register for classes! Hurray!
So while Maki was taking her test, I... took Naomi for a drive! ^_^ Yes, for about an hour I

Picked up Maki and (not surprisingly) she passed with flying colors! She'll be able to take classes and get credits!! Math 100 and English 100, look out! Here comes Maki!
Next stop was at the church so we could walk over to the post office which is really close by. Naomi asked if I wanted to drive so I got to drive on the 'real' roads next. A little bit scary but I made sure not to show too much or else Naomi would be even more scared than she was. :P She seemed rather nervous.
When walking over to the post office, we met James Hoffman! He seems to be doing great and seemed happy to see us. He told Maki and me to make sure to take time even during college to go the beach. ^_^
After the post office, Naomi drove us to Goodwill to donate some stuff. Then I took over driving and drove home! I'm really starting to like driving now; but as Daddy made sure to tell me, 'Make sure there's always a little bit of the initial fear of driving stay with you so you don't get cocky.' Good advice, right everyone? :P
Did some Internet when we got home then when it started getting around 5:00 or so, I drove Naomi and Maki over to Time's supermarket. There were some driving 'incidents' though I didn't cause any accidents or anything. Just some interesting episodes. ^_^
Got home and we had our first dinner with the four of us at home. Taco party!! Naomi cooked some yummy Mexican style beef and chicken and we made our
own soft and hard tacos. Also had some cheese, mushrooms, and chicken quesadillas! Was VERY full at the end of dinner.

Naomi and Erin went out to do some shopping so Maki and I watched Ghostbusters. It was her first time to watch and I LOVE watching a movie which someone else has never seen before; know that feeling? Here are just a few of our agreed favorite quotes (mostly by Peter Venkman (Bill Murray)):

Venckman: Back off, man. I'm a scientist.
Venckman: You know, this reminds me of the time you were going to drill a hole through your head.
Spengler: It would have worked if you hadn't stopped me.
I think I now have to get Ghostbuster II which is just as good as the first movie; it also has the cutest baby in the history of film besides Swee'pea from Popeye. (You named him Oscar? You poor baby, named after a hot dog!! (from Ghostbuster II))
After the movie, (Naomi and Erin had come home by then), the four of us moved some furniture around the living room. This went smoothly without incident except for
Maki and Erin trying to rip my toenail off (lol!). Got to chat with Justin and Mrs. Ito which was really nice. Got to say hi to Elly who now has a blog if anyone wants to check it out!

Going to bed now, I have an early driving lesson tomorrow morning so need some sleep. ^_^ Last of all, a picture of Erin, safe and sound in my room. The 'family in Hawaii' is complete now!

Glad to know Erin's reached there. Oooh...I actually want to see you drive. I think that's so weird. :P But yeah, glad to also know that Maki's passed her test!
Ooo.. with the increase in the number of people, your blog gets more and more interesting, day by day :-)
