Ok, the first for me to actually write a title. If I can think of a title for every single day is the real test... :P Well, drifted awake around 9:00 and decided to start reading Veritas Conflict. It's getting more and more exciting the futher I get into the story.
Watched a couple of Remington Steele episodes with Maki and Naomi. Both were really lots of fun; the second one was an especially baffling case. I almost couldn't figure it out till the very end. Very good mystery...
Picked up my book again though I had planned to finish off my new chapter. The book is becoming more addictive...
For lunch we all had different food; I had leftover hashbrowns and potatoes and some macaroni and cheese. Yumm... macroni and cheese, ready to eat in about four minutes. :P
After Erin wrote a few e-mails, she and Maki decided to go to the beach. Naomi and I dropped them off at Waikiki (I was driving) then went over to Costco. This Costco is a bit far so I actually drove on the freeway a bit. It was fun to drive over there and at one point Naomi and I were going to

We got several things for the house including some groceries. I also got the Ghostbusters I & II DVD special edition pack. Since it was Costco, it was VERY reasonably priced. I like the little booklet that comes with it; the drawings are really funny!

I also got a very nice Ralph Lauren backpack which I immediately liked. I mean... it has POCKETS!! (pockets, pockets, pockets!) There were also colors in red and blue but I thought the beige would go more with different colors. I'm pretty much ready to 'go' to school now!
Also, Naomi got herself a nice computer chair for home. It's a graduation present from our parents; she'll be working at home now so she wnted a really good chair. (I'll have pictures later on in today's blog of it). She's calling it the CEO chair and I'm sure we're all going to hear more about it in the future. *sigh* lol!
Drove home once to drop everything off then went to Time's supermarket to buy some different groceries not able to be bought at Costco. I was scaring Naomi a bit with my driving around in the smaller streets. :P Don't worry, it's nothing like I'm being an especially 'erratic' driver or anything; she's just very scared when I drive close to cars parked on the streets.
Picked up Erin and Maki and it seemed like they really had a nice time. They stayed on the beach a bit then did some shopping. Erin seems to have gotten a little tan and even Maki has a bit of a tan now, too! As for me, I haven't been to the beach or anything but I'm already tanned... :S I get tanned real easily and suspect by the time I get back to Japan I'll be brown as a coconut. ^_^
All right, as soon as I got home and helped Naomi put away the groceries, I immediately sat down to read my book. I HAD to finish it; it's really that good! At one poine, when one part of the 'conspiracy' is revealed I actually jumped up and squealed, which made Maki and Erin who were in the room jump and stare at me. Since they hadn't read it and wouldn't understand, I ran to Naomi's room and yelled at Naomi making HER jump (she had been reading, too). :P A positively thrilling book!
I was getting towards the last stretch but it was time for dinner so it took quite an amount of self-control to put it down. But it was worth it because dinner was delicious. Naomi made chicken marinted in applesauce and barbecue sauce which ws delicious. Also had some mahi-mahi (tuna fish) and 'chinngennsai' (Chinese cabbage) as well as some tomatoes.

After the talk, I was itching to finish my book but Maki and I had decided earlier to watch Ghostbusters II. So during the first 15 minutes of the movie I finished reading my book then finished the movie with Maki. Erin popped in for a bit but left soon after. I still can't decided which I like better, the first movie or the sequel. Both are equally good and the jokes are funny in both. Some favorite quotes:

Dana: His name is Oscar.
Peter Venckman: Named after a hot dog, you poor man!

It's getting late now so here are just two more pictures I wanted to show you. One is with Naomi and Erin trying to figure out how to put Naomi's chair together and the other is the completed one. Hurray for Naomi and her new chair!
