Last Weekend Before School Starts...

This morning I watched a couple of tv episodes that I had taped the other day. Naomi came in later on and after flipping through some channels she decided on a James Bond movie so I stayed in the living room and watched with her. It's been so long since I've seen the older James Bond movies. They're doing a Bond marathon, showing ALL of the James Bond movies. ^_^ Thunderball was showing at that time so we watched it; during the middle of the film Maki joined us and we had lunch while finishing the movie. Thunderball is definitely one of my favorite Sean Connery/James Bond films, besides For Your Eyes Only.

During the whole morning and during lunch, Erin had gone out with her friend. After getting home after 1:00, Naomi, Maki, and I headed out to go see a movie. We got slightly mixed up since I had planned the day for going to Ward Theatres while Naomi thought we were going to Kahala Theatres. :P So we couldn't make it on time for Ward so instead went to Kahala a bit early for the next showing of the movie. So got to spend some time at Barnes & Nobles before getting our seats.

The movie we went to see was Red Eye, which is a term used for late-night airplane flights. It's a thriller and quite scary so I can only recommend for older teens and adults. For a 'recent' thriller film, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Rachel McAdams is stunning as the beautiful heroine and Cillian Murphy is REEAAAALLLLLY scary! Anyway, the matinee price was worth it.

I drove home then we individually spent our time doing our own things. Tried working a bit more on my fanfiction though I'm 'slowing' down a bit. :P It was nice because I was able to talk with my parents for quite a bit today which is always nice. I miss them and my dogs so much!

While Naomi and Erin were preparing dinner, Maki and I practiced for tomorrow's worship songs. Maki is going to play the guitar while I play the keyboard so we practiced the four songs we're singing tomorrow. Nice playing the piano again though the keyboard has less keys than a standard piano. I have to get used to it. :p

Dinner was good (as always) and I ate quite a bit. We had this interesting Chinese egg-drop soup which was delicious, even for being one of those 'packet' soups. After dinner, we went to our rooms. I was writing some movie reviews and chatting with some people.

Ahhh, college classes start day after tomorrow!!! :S Ok, I have to honestly say that I'm getting a bit nervous. Tomorrow I'll probably be a wreck, looking at all the textbooks and trying to get everything ready. Naomi and Erin are promising me that I'll do fine but... it's my nature to worry... :P Well, I know I'll do find; it's just that I'm the type of person who worries before I actually do things or go somewhere. Ah well... tomorrow's Sunday, and I'll also be having a special 'video conference' set up with the kids of KCIS as they prepare for a sign dance performance! It'll be very interesting to see if choreographing and directing can be done long-distance. ^_^

In closing... pictures of KCIS Newsies! Was browsing through my pictures today and was reminiscing while looking at our Newsies pictures. ^_^ Brings back old memories, huh? I like the picture on the left: "Director Priscilla points with her finger of doom!" lol!
