Can't Think of a Title...

(today there aren't any pictures to put up so I've sprinkled the blog with pictures of Bianca and Sophie. You can tell I'm missing my dogs... ^_^ Enjoy!)

Got out of bed just after 8:00 and after doing all the morning stuff, I spent most of the morning in a comfortable pile of pillows reading my Law & Order book. Read about half way and it was getting VERy interesting.

However, I only got half way then Naomi, Maki, and I went out to do some errands just before lunch. First we stopped by the campus to clear up some holds on Maki's registration. That was cleared up very quickly and we headed over to Kahala Mall next. At Long's Drugstore I got some cold medicine for my sore throat as well as some blank VHS tapes for Maki and me. ^_^ Both of us are planning to tape some shows.

For lunch we ate at Kimuraya's Bakery where it's both a restaurant and a bakery. Maki had fish loco moco, Naomi had some sort of miso-yaki salmon, and I had a mushroom spaghetti. My spaghetti was huge and I could hardly eat half; there were soooo many mushrooms! Afterwards we bought some breads from the bakery for tomorrow's breakfast. Yum!

Picked up some groceries at Starmarket then went back home. Finished my book. It was pretty interesting and it ended quite unexpectedly. I hadn't seen that ending coming at all. A fun read; it adds a little more depth to the characters which is different from the tv show which hardly adds any character details. Unfortunately, some 'aspects' of the plot and crime I didn't like... hmmm...

Did some computer and read L&O fanficion until 4:00 when I went to the living room to watch L&O. So relieved that all the bad guys went to jail. ^_^ Erin came home a little before 6:00 (she had been working all day). Naomi (with help from the others and me) made dinner of tonkatsu and yasaii-itame. It was nice to eat Japanese home-cooked food with rice!

After dinner, Maki, Erin, and I finished watching Pride and Prejudice. Sigh... it's such a good movie! I especially like the last half of the movie because the character of Mr. Darcy changes so much from the beginning half. He even smiles in the latter half of the movie! :P lol!

Naomi had gone out to take Nick, Heather, Malia, and Bella to the airport (they're going to visit the kids' grandparents in Arizona). When she came back, I went with her to the video rental store to return a DVD. Looked around a bit and decided to borrow one movie.

Got home, and here I am, writing my blog while eating mint ice-cream (mmmmmm...)! ^_^ To finish off this blog, I've come to realize that a lot of the most interesting quotes from the tv series Law & Order are said by the judges. Here are some of my favorites, which are yours?:

"You couldn't please this court if you danced an Irish jig on your fingertips!"

"Maybe I'm overly noble, counselors, but I'm not up to rewriting the Bill of Rights this week."

"Thank you for wasting the court's time."

"The few, the proud, the indicted."

"Consistency is the hobgoblin of little courtrooms."

I liked "Consistency is the hobgoblin of little courtrooms." because I have no idea what it's saying. :P I also liked the thank you for wasting the court's time quote. :P
