Naomi went to meet with her client so I did some more computer, intent on trying to finish up chapter 41 of my Lord of the Rings fanfic.
Didn't finish before Naomi came home and we all decided to go swimming, except for Maki who didn't change into a swimming suit but came along with us. She brought paper and pencil so she could draw some sketches! Well, we went to the swimming pool, but it was closed! So deciding not to waste the

It was a beautiful day for an hour or so at the beach. I got quite a tan as did the other girls. (on the left is just a random picture of the ocean which Maki took for me). We did some swimming but also just lay in the sun for quite a while. Borrowing Maki's sketchbook and pencil, I tried to sketch a quick drawing of Erin but didn't have quite enough to make it reasonably nice. :P
Got home past 1 o'clock after stopping by the bank and we had 'maboudoufu' for lunch. VERY yummy, as my whole family knows I LOVE maboudoufu. I was pretty starved since we started eating mabe 1:30 or so.
Watched an episode of Remington Steele and I felt sorry for Murphy whom the writers had made very... un-like Murphy. Hmph! Only two more episodes left to watch! Oh, yes, while we were watching Erin went for an interview and she came back safe and sound! (big applause for Erin)
The rest of the afternoon was being totally focused on finishing my Boromir, Thou Shall Live chapter 41. I know I've been talking about it a lot in my blog but at around 5 o'clock or so I finally finished! I proofread it then finally uploaded it onto fanfiction.net. That's a big load off my mind! Now I might finish up a short vignette based on the movie The Interpreter which I started but haven't finished. That reminds me just how much I want to watch The Interpreter again. That's such a good movie, I can't wait till the DVD comes out!
We decided to go the Wednesday night meeting at New Hope Church so we had an early dinner of spaghetti and go ready to leave. For the first time, I wore 'dangle'

Naomi drove to the church and I was really glad because it was dusk and hard to see the road. Plus, it was raining which made the visibility even worse. It made for some very pretty pictures though... ^_^
We got there just in time for the service to begin. The worship lasted about an hour and there were some songs I recognized; I especially loved singing Here I Am to Worship. Lovely song. There was a guest speaker who lead the service. The sermon was titled Light of the World and he told a lot of interesting stories. One of them was very funny about when he had gone to Russia and there was a little 'cultural' difference.
After the service, we stopped by Blockbusters to return Grease. It's nice because though I was late in returning by two days, they're doing this campaign thing that you don't have to pay late fees seven days past the return due date. So I didn't have to pay for being late in returning!! Erin, Maki, and I checked out almost every aisle which (of course) is LOADS of fun for me. ^_^ Erin is especially fun to look through movies with because she knows quite a bit so she doesn'

In the end I borrowed only one movie so we went home. Had some ice cream while watching a bit of Roseanne, a tv show that's fairly fun. I think the best thing about the show is that John Goodman stars in it.

Well, I think I'm ready for bed after I check my e-mails once more. I've already received some reviews for my new chapter. ^_^ I'm so happy I've finally got that done! In honor of Daddy, here's a picture of the 'clouds' that I took today. You can see on the lower left corner there's a part of a rainbow in the picture. Powerpoint worthy? *wink!*

Wow Hawaii skies are so pretty...
I'm glad you finished the chapter. Maybe now the hounds...ahem...reviewers will back off for a few days. :O) I read it over, and there aren't that many things I think need fixing. I'll look it over again, of course... :O)
Oh, and I did receive the NZ LOTR postcards. They're absolutely lovely! I think I'll frame them.
Very nice. The ocean, the rainbow....everything!
