This morning Naomi had gone off for a business meeting so Maki and I had to go walk to school. ^_^ First time walking to school by way of Kilauea street, which is basically all an uphill slope. :S Quite a feat to walk by way of that street, and I don't think I particularly like that road much. :P It was very muggy today so I'm glad I remembered to bring my water bottle!
It's so nice that the history class is VERY air conditioned. :P After walking for about 30 minutes it felt good to just relax for a few minutes in a cool room before class actually began. Nichelle had arrived earlier than us and had sat close to where Maki and I had been sitting the last few weeks. ^_^ So I sat right in front of her and we got to chat before and after class started. She's taking Japanese Conversation course so I offered any help she might want. ^_^

We studied on the Neolithic Period and the Neolithic Revolution. Interesting material; so far we haven't had to open any of our books. ^_^ And again, no homework!! Hurray!
It was embarrassing though that in one part towards the end of my class, my cell phone rang. :P At first I didn't realize it was my phone but after finding out I quickly turned it off. Later on I listened to the voice mail which Naomi had left for me (she had been the one calling me). The original plan was for Maki and I to stay on campus for lunch until our next class because Naomi would be busy with another meeting. However, Naomi called to say that the meeting had been canceled so she could take us home. ^_^ Yay! I much prefer eating and relaxing at home during the lunch break instead of

For lunch I made a ham sandwich and played some Mahjong while listening to music. Then it was time for all of us to head for campus. Naomi stopped by to get her diplomas and they are REALLY beautiful. I'll try to get a picture some time so that I can put on my blog. It's green so that of course made Naomi very pleased. :D
Naomi and I went to ASL class and that was lots of fun as usual. Ami Tsuji-Jones (our teacher) is really nice and teaches in a way that makes it fun to learn. A lot of us in class are trying to sign in our normal conversations even outside of class. ^_^

Went home after class and since I didn't have any homework, I decided to watch a movie. I was only able to watch one half of the movie though I didn't care too much because the movie wasn't too great. It was an 80's Ron Howard film starring Michael Keaton about a Japanese auto company opening in America. One thing I couldn't stand were the the 'Japanese' characters who could hardly speak coherent Japanese! It was really terrible. :S Annoying, but kind of funny at the same time. lol! The best thing about the movie would have to be Michael Keaton. He's such a versatile actor, it's always funny to recall just how many different 'kinds' of characters he's played.
Today is Tuesday so it was Maki's and my turn to cook dinner. ^_^ Naomi actually helped out quite a bit but Maki and I did most everything. Today's menu consisted of garlic chicken, spinach salad, and fried potatoes (besides some leftovers). Very delicious if I do say so myself. :P
After dinner, Maki and I reviewed our math homework. It's really nice having a real 'classmate' who I can go over school work and such. I've never really had that back home because I always had studies by myself.

I reviewed my English reading assignments and thought up a thesis for my English essay while watching some tv (strange that I seem to be able to do that...). Afterwards I downloaded a song that was interesting because... Johnny Depp played the guitar for it! :D Nice song...
Well, I'm off to bed now since it's getting late, yet once again. :P

College sounds really interesting! School start tomorrow, yay! (sounds weird with the yay, but it's true!) Lol, I'd probably die of embarassment about the phone call thing.
