"Nein!" "Oh no, it must be half past ten by now..."

I had to take Erin to her internship place this morning so last night I asked her to please wake me up a little after 8:00 because I thought I wouldn't be able to wake up. But it was so strange this morning when I woke up and it was exactly 7:59! ^_^ Very interesting... Anyway, left the house around 8:30, then came back a little after 9:00. I wrote a few more pages for my new Lord of the Rings chapter then got into a video conversation with Naomi. Well, not really because they could see and hear me, but they had to communicate by typing. :P Naomi's doing great and seems to be having lots of fun with Ben, Becky, Javier, Christian, and Tony. On the left you can see the picture of them that they sent me. Such a nice picture, isn't it?

Went to History class and we started off with a quiz. I know I made one mistake... :S I was completely stumped on what is a 'latifundia'. After the quiz I checked it up and I was like, 'Ahhh! I knew that!!' :P (for those who want to know what it is, latifundias are the Roman 'mega-farms' owned by the rich partricians who used slave labor to work the farms). Next we did something REALLY fun... Mr. Cassity showed us the first battle scene from the movie Gladiator! I haven't seen it in a while and it was cool watching ten~fifteen minutes of it in class. He showed us to explain how the Roman armies were very organized and how Marcus Aurelius was the last great emperor of Rome; he was the one who often fought the Germanic tribes invading Rome. Since we've studied about phalanxes and how Roman armies worked, it was even more interesting to watch the battle scenes with new insight into the history of it all.

Finished talking about the Pax Romana area and from the next class we'll get into the Rise of Christianity which should be interesting. At the end of class, Mr. Cassity handed all of us back our midterm papers... out of 100 points for the midterm I got 95!! *jumps up and down with glee* I'm so excited that I was able to do well on the midterm; after the class I went to talk to Mr. Cassity about the test and he told me he didn't have any worries on how well I'd do for the rest of the semester. ^_^

Dropped Maki off at home then went to pick Erin up (lots of driving to do when Naomi's not here). Got home and watched a Hogan's Heroes while eating ramen for lunch. Next went back to campus for my next ASL class except... my class was canceled today! So I went straight back home to relax for the rest of the day. :P I finished up my LotR chapter and finally got it updated! Feels so good to get a new chapter out; hopefully my readers haven't given up on me and are still reading...

Maki and I made dinner tonight of 'maboudoufu' and salad. Very yummy, it's nice because there's leftovers for tomorrow. ^_^ From 8:00 to 9:00 I watched a new episode of House, M.D. which was being aired. Such a good episode, it might actually be one of my favorite episodes so far. They also showed a preview for next week's episode... looks so exciting! Must try not to forget to watch it...

Next thing I did was finish up my English essay for which the first draft is due tomorrow. It's good enough for a first draft, I know I'm going to do a lot of tweaking before I hand in the final draft next week.

It's already Wednesday tomorrow! How time flies... keep flying time! I want to go back to Japan soon for Christmas! :P Good night y'all!
