"Dunbar... not 'Dumb Bear'"

Whoah... today was a looooong day! :P Naomi came in to wake Maki and me up, saying that she was making French toast! This of course was an easy way to get us out of bed so we were up and able to have breakfast all together. ^_^ Naomi led service today; she didn't really have a title for her sermon but if she did have a title, it'd be something like Be Strong and Courageous, or something along that line.

Went to the 10:30 service today. Since we had missed the first part of the Friday night service, we were able to watch the Veteran's Day slideshow which was REALLY cool! The put up a slideshow of all the veterans in the church and it was cool seeing a lot of familiar faces in full uniform, saying what rank and which wars they had been in. There were quite a few people who were involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom, some even who are still over there right now. It was a very patriotic slideshow and a lot of people, including me, who were really touched and were clapping so much.

Right after the sermon, Nick and Heather took me to their house so I could babysit the kids in the afternoon while the parents were going to some wedding reception. So I gave them lunch then had them take their naps. It was nice because they were sleeping for most of the time. I was able to watch my dvd, Dances With Wolves though couldn't finish the last ten - fifteen minutes when Bella woke up. So I played with her a bit then Nick and Heather came home around 3:30.

They took me home a little later and I finished watching the movie with Erin, then watched the last two episodes of Hogan's Heroes. *sob!* Oh, well, gotta get season 2 now!

Took a short nap then around 6:00, Joe and Mercy dropped off Nika and Kyla off at our house. We babysat the kids while their parents went on a 'date'. ^_^ We watched Finding Nemo, two Veggietales, and a little bit of Muppets Take Manhattan. :P Half the time they weren't watching but doing various things; they are sooooo curious and get into everything so Maki and I were on our toes most of the time. They are so cute and funny; it's especially cute to see Nika when she starts dancing whenever she hears music! She also found my drumsticks earlier so we were 'playing drums' on pillow earlier, too. :P Nika also really, really loved my Genie pillow and kept changing its shape and color (or having Maki or me change its shape and color). ^_^

It was getting pretty late but they were so excited and having such a good time that though they were really tired, they wouldn't sleep at all. :P The parents came to pick them up around 10:45 and they were laughing when they opened the door and Nika just piped up in a loud, bright voice, saying "HI!" lol! So funny! They seemed like the kids really had a fun time at our house; they were both yelling 'good-bye' from the car as they were leaving. Joe was saying they're probably going to fall dead asleep on the way home which I think is true...

Tomorrow I have an oral presentation for my #4 essay in English class. :S I hope I'm not chosen to do tomorrow instead of the next class... at the same time I want to get it over with, too. :P Oh yes! Tomorrow I get to register for classes, too! I hope I get all the classes I want!

Very adorable kids and I love all the pictures you took. :D Lol, I want to watch Muppets Take Manhattan again. Good luck on your oral presentation, whenever it may be!
