Nice Holiday!Naomi came into my room to wake me up around 8:30 and I quickly had to get ready to make it in time to go babysit from 9:00. Malia and Bella were very good kids and it's such great fun getting to babysit them! Malia and I were mostly watching VeggieTales in the morning while Bella had her morning nap. Naomi came around noon and helped preparing lunch and feeding the two girls. I can never look at spaghetti-o's the same way again... :P

Heather came home around 12:00 and we chatted a bit before Naomi and I left. We picked up Erin and Maki and had lunch at the

Kyoto Ramen restaurant we had gone recently before, too. I got the chyashuk-ramen this time; sooo good! The chyashu is cooked to perfection and it just melts in your mouth. *sigh...* Naomi also ordered ebi-chili and the s

hrimps were huge! None of us expected it to be that big but we weren't complaining. :P It was really,
really good. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorite places in Hawaii now. I miss good ramen; making at home and eating out ramen are just two totally different things.

Next we went by Punchbowl cemetery to visit Grandpa's grave. Because today was Veteran's Day, the cemetery was

decorated with sooooo many American flags. The weather was beautiful and perfect, too, to go visit. Punchbowl cemetery is such a beautiful place, it's always nice to visit. I'm always proud to see that Grandpa has served in three wars (WWII, Korean, and Vietnam). There are definitely not many people who have done so.

Went home and Erin, Maki, and I watched a long movie together; it was so nice just to relax and watch a long movie together without thinking it's late or we have to do homework. :P

We left the house around 6:00 and went to Kahala Mall for the Starbucks deaf event. The place where we meet was sooo crowded though today because there was a special event taking place; a whole orchestra was playing special music in honor of Veteran's day (lots of military like music). The music was REALLY good and sometimes got distracting from actually paying attention to everyone's signing. :P I think it was actually good practice for me especially to keep my attention on the 'people' so much as the surrounding 'sounds'.
A LOT of students from my ASL class were here tonight; altogether there were like ten of use there! So we were signing with each other and there were a few other people who were REALLY good at signing who helped us out and we got to learn more signs. It's really fun when you can
understand the signs; there's a real sense of accomplishment in being able to anctually converse.

Stayed a bit longer at Kahala than we thought we would so didn't get to the Friday Night Service until around 7:30. After the service, I saw Yuriy had his violin and I asked him about it. And guess what... he was one of the violinists at the Kahala concert! It was performed by UH students! So that was a real coincidence; Maki and I actually looked through the random pictures we had been taking of the orchestra and Yuriy was in one of the pictures Maki took! :D

After the service and talking on the lanai a bit (picture of Nikka on the left), the four of us went home because we were all tired, especially Naomi who has to fight jet lag. :P Picked up some dinner and ate at home while watching a few episodes of
Hogan's Heroes. So sad, only two episodes left... ^_^
Tomorrow morning I have tap class (drum class was canceled!! *sniff sniff*) then I'm going to be practicing special music with Rose, Chris, and some others. Otherwise the afternoon is off I think... ^_^
