~Hold the Line!~ (song by Toto, very cool song...)
Wow, it's already Thursday.... time seems to go so fast! Yet at the same time it's a loooong way off till December 19th... :P
Had another fun and interesting History class. I really love history soooo much! Today we learned about how we get the dates of BC and AD and how because the Venerable Bede messed up *slightly* (:P), Jesus was actually born 4 BC. I thought that was interesting. Especially how the years might still be off by a few more years... lol! It would get very messed up indeed. ^_^
Before going home after class, went over to the Ilima building to stop by and try to make an appointment to meet Kristie, the liberal arts counselor who helped me out for my first semester at KCC. I'll probably get to see her next Monday in the morning before my English class; it seems she's pretty busy meeting students because registration for the next semester starts soon.
Stopped by the Koa (art) building so Maki could pick up some art supplies then we went home for lunch. Went to ASL class and because Ami is still sick (the reason why our last class was canceled), we had a substitute teacher named Crissy. She's actually Erin and Maki's ASL teacher! So it was fun having a different teacher to learn from. We got to finish REAL early, about 45 minutes before the actual end of class. Went home and got to chat with some people as well as get started on my Siddhartha report for History class. *groan*
Erin made a delicious dinner of tacos tonight; I ate quite a lot of tacos because the shells were soooo small... :P Went straight over to the church for the music class that they have on Thursday nights. Joe brought his daughter Nikka; she's already turning out to have excellent rhythm! She knows how to use ALL the different percussion instruments and keep beat all on her own! She nods her head on beat and does percussions pretty consistently, which is amazing for her age. Of course, Joe is the perfect, proud father. ^_^ Practice was mostly Joe playing while I played with Nikka with all the different percussion instruments. They have all kinds of cool instruments that are fun to 'play' with. :P
Went home and continued working on my Siddhartha report. Almost two pages completed... the summary is almost comlete, next will be the analysis of the story. I think it'll be fairly easy to write though will most definitely take some time. I also started checking up classes for the next semester. Tentatively speaking, I'm thinking of taking six classes: History 152, History 282, Japanese 298, Theater 101 or 121, Geography 101, and Geography 101 Lab. We shall see if I can get into these classes or not...
Well, tomorrow I just have Ballet in the afternoon. ^_^ But I'll have to finish up my ballet learning log before then, and I have to work on my English paper due next week, and I have to work on my Siddhartha report due next week... :P
