~If there's something strange in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? GHOSBUSTERS!!~

Went to campus a bit early so that Naomi and I could stop by the Honda International Center to fill out some forms; something to do with my registering for next semester's classes. Really a very simple affair, went right up to wait outside at the 'usual' picnic table before English class. A lot of classmates were already gathered so we had fun chatting.

English class was actually fun today. Got my essay #3 back; 'A'. ^_^ Today was one of the two days to give a short oral presentation of what we individually chose to write for our #4 research paper. Eric went up first as no one volunteered to go up front first (:P) and besides, everyone kind of 'expects' him to go first. lol! He might write about the assassination of Ronald Reagan though he hasn't confirmed that exactly. Gordon went up next; the guy I mentioned before about how he goes on and on and on.... *rolls eyes* Today's was especially hard to understand and everyone was just sooooo silent. Naturally, no one had questions, but that only induced him to talk more... *wrinkles nose*

Under peer pressure (:P), I gave my oral presentation next, though it was a good thing so I was able to get it over and done with. I'm going to probably write about education; homeschooling in general and about the controversy over whether parents have the right to homeschool their children. Interesting subject, especially for me.

Went home and had a quick lunch, played some computer, then off to math class next. Because we have a test for the next class, today we only took the practice test which took a little less than twenty minutes. :P With so much time on my hands before ballet class, I went over to the library with Maki. With a little help from one of the librarians, I was able to pick out a nice book which talks about both the advantages and disadvantages of homeschooling.

Got to ballet class still pretty early so I was able to have a nice talk with my teacher. We talked about how so many students are dropping out of class now or are trying to 'ask' teachers for better grades than they deserve. :P Sharon had some pretty funny stories to tell about those kinds of students...

Ballet class was fun today because we focused more on turns than jumps. :P Jumps are ok, but I get tired out pretty easily. I also have a bit of a problem with port da chasse because it hurts my ankles... Anyway, at the end we did the short midterm choreography Sharon had taught before. The problem was... nobody remembered it! lol! So we were all laughing and bumping each other, trying to remember. Oh, well. :P

Naomi picked Erin and I up from our classes (which ends around the same time) and after I got home, I basically collapsed into my chair. :P Ballet does that to you.

Helped make dinner then started on my history map which I need to fill out for the map quiz coming up this week. Today's dinner consisted of meatloaf and portobello mushrooms. Yum, YUM! After dinner I finished up the map then watched Ghostbusters II. Such a funny movie, I always watch that or the first movie whenever I want to watch a 'relaxing' comedy. ^_^ There are soooo many great one-liners from both movies... I especially like the one in II where Egon says, "Peter? He was borderline for a while... then he crossed the border." lol!

Chatted with many people, talked to many people on the phone. Overall, a good day, for a school day. :P Yay, tomorrow is Tuesday! Meaning I have History class! I love history; minoring in History is definitely of a hope of mine for my upcoming college years. *sigh* But I also have my ASL quiz tomorrow. :S Hope it's not too difficult or anything...

Oooh, that's nice about your oral presentation. That's a good topic and yeah, nice 'cos we're homeschool sorta as well. Ballet sounds tiring...:P But fun.

Can you send me your paper on homeschooling when you get it finished? I'd be interested in reading it!
Thanks! Can't wait to see you soon!
