A Very 'Full' Saturday

Oooh, what a busy day today. :P This morning I woke up, surprised to see it was 10:00!! I quickly got ready and left for tap class though I was still a bit late because I slept in longer than I thought. :P Today's tap class was really, REALLY tough. We've 'completed' the dance as in learned all the steps for the whole song. Doesn't mean any of us can do it really well or anything. :P Next week is going to be the last lesson so I'm going to ask maybe one of the 'girls' to come and perhaps take video clips and pictures of my class. ^_^

I went home and quickly took a shower then left immediately for the church. Rose and her husband Chris are going to be doing special music for the next weekend and asked me to play the drums for them. Today the time was mostly spent them figuring out the chords with Polly (keyboard) and Carl (bass) so I didn't really get to play much. It's a very 'jazzy' sort of song so I like playing the drums for it; doing something a little 'different' from usual.

Went home then after dropping Erin and Maki off at Waikiki (for them to do some shopping), Naomi and I went over to Costco. We got a lot of things for the house and I had fun browsing the dvd section though I didn't buy anything. :P Afterwards, I bought a 'Very Berry Sundae' which is DELICIOUS! For just under $2.00, their sundaes are good AND big even at such a low price. Verrrrry good...

Been having a slight headache all day but it got pretty bad by the time I got home. :S So I laid down on the bed a bit to rest. Feeling a bit better, I watched Enemy Mine, my first time to watch. It's an interesting movie; 'strange' and 'odd', but interesting nevertheless. Dennis Quaid is sooo young! And the make-up is pretty fantastic, considering the movie was made twenty years ago, before I was even born!

For dinner we had sashimi and fresh salmon... oooh, so good. :P Naomi also bought this interesting dessert which was good and very sweet. After dinner, did some computer then watched Open Range. Excellent movie, a Kevin Costner masterpiece! I love how his character and all the good guys are so honorable throughout the whole movie.

I'm off to bed now. Tomorrow morning I have church then I have TWO babysitting jobs; watching Malia and Bella earlier in the afternoon then Nikka and Kyla are coming over to our house in the evening. Should be interesting! :P

Lol, that's a scary thing Dennis Quaid is threatening. At least, it looks like he's threatening it. And OOOH! You have to take video clips and pictures of your tap class! Must see, must see...but why is it your last class?
