Finally Got My ASL Midterm Back! And the Score Is...
History class was very interesting and fun as usual. Learned more about the Islamic faith after getting some help with our maps to prepare for the upcoming quiz later on this week. Oh, and we also got our take home quizzes on the Justinian Law Code Back. :P Mr. Cassity was a bit upset because nobody got a perfect score and (it seems) a lot of people did really badly. lol! So, he was very nice about it and decided not to count any of our scores for this quiz. ^_^ Well, I didn't do badly, 4 points out of 5 (I wrote Byzantium Empire but didn't specify Constantinople. :P)
Went home for lunch and I sent out the book reports Maki and I had checked for the older kids of KCIS. With that done, I had a quick lunch and we all four went to the campus for our classes. I got my ASL midterm back; I scored 98% for the Receptive, 93% for the Written, and 95% for the Expressive. So my average for the midterm was 95%, an A!! ^_^ Hip hip hurray! I was so surprised I did so well ont he receptive; even my teacher seemed impressive as she wrote 'Wow' on the test. :P
Took an ASL quiz today (last quiz) and it was sooooo hard! Ami isn't being 'kind' to us at all and finger spells and signs faster and faster ever time we come to class. :P Oh, well, actually deaf people sign much, much faster than I could ever imagine so I should be happy that she's 'slowing down' for us beginners. lol!
After the quiz and studying a new unit in our books, Naomi and I went home. I relaxed a bit at the computer and wrote up Math notes for my Math test tomorrow. *groan* Not looking forward to the test; for some reason I don't 'completely' understand probabilities so hopefully I won't do too bad. At least I did very well for the first two tests so even if I don't do too well on tomorrow's test, it'll sort of 'even out' (hopefully). I'm also donating blood in a few weeks so I'll get extra points for Math. ;)
Around 5:45 I left the house and walked over to Nick and Heather's house to babysit Malia and Bella. The kids already ate so after the parents left, we watched Veggietales (naturally...). Well, actually, Malia watched Veggietales, Bella was crawling around, and I was able to read my book. ^_^ I'm finally over halfway done!! From 8:00 House, M.D. was on so I watched the first part while getting the kids ready for the bed. Nick and Heather came home around 8:30 and we watched the rest of House, M.D. Good episode though I missed quite a bit because I was looking after the kids. :P Oh, well, I was the babysitter; comes with the job. *wink*!
Erin picked me up a little after 9:00 and after I got home, I relaxed a bit while at the same time stressing out for my math test tomorrow. :P I'm sure I'll do fine though I'm still going to try studying a lot more tomorrow... Wish me luck!

Wow, you're donating blood and you get extra points for that? That's cool! Though I think I heard something about you and blood some time ago...but anyway, hope you do well on that test!
