Busy, Crazy Day

It's come back round to Monday again... :P *sigh* What a crazy, busy day it was today. Anyway, Erin and Maki had their ASL class from 8:00 and I decided to go with them because I planned to see my liberal arts counsellor (she accepts 'walk-ins' from 8:00 to 11:00 on Mondays). Got to her office but found out that her daughter got sick and had to take her to the doctor, hence she was going to come in late today. So I just went straight back home and relaxed a bit before going back to campus at 9:15 to pick Erin and Maki up. Dropped Erin off at home and after Maki got her stuff, the two of us went back to campus. I went straight back to the liberal arts counseling building and already there were three people ahead of me to see Kristie (she's the best and most popular L.A. counsellor). Waited until around 10:15 before I got to see her.

We were able to have a nice talk and she really helped me out with all the questions I had. Mostly I asked about my choice of classes for the upcoming spring semester since I can start registering from next Monday. She approved all my choices for the next semester and also helped with my questions about what other classes I will need to take to complete my AA and later on my BA degree. Also, as I mentioned I might want to try minoring in History so I need to take five 300+ level classes to get the minor. So not until I get to UH because there are only lower level classes here at KCC.

Had English class which was fairly interesting as we got to get together in groups to talk about throughts on 'Higher Education'. Went home and had lunch before back to campus for first math then ballet class. I was almost falling asleep in math class so wasn't really paying attention to anything but luckily, everything was easy and I finished the worksheet in no time. :P Ballet was tough but fun today since we did more pique turns; my favorites!

Went home and checked my e-mails to see that I got word from Sandra Perez who is in charge of the performing arts program at KCC. I sent her a very short resume of what kind of drama work I had done in high school a few days ago. So she wrote me and said that I'm qualified to get into the Theater 221 class for Beginning Acting without having to take Intro Drama 101! Hurray! Then I got another e-mail, this from Linda Fujikawa, telling me that she was looking forward to seeing me in her Japanese 298 class. So... I'm getting two overrides for the next semester!

I was able to talk to Naomi on the phone a bit before having dinner with Maki. I was feeling a bit tired so we relaxed and watched a couple episodes of Hogan's Heroes.

Went back to our room and I started doing various homework; specifically finished up my ASL homework. Did some more double checking for Siddhartha then began working on making up a schedule for next semester. It's all working out perfectly and when I register next Monday, I'll post up my schedule.

For some reason (well, I actually know the reasons), I've been feeling really stressed out and tired today. I didn't sleep well enough last night and there's so many things going on right now. Imagine how happy I was to get a phone call from my parents. ^_^ It's awful them just missing out talking to them for one whole day! Talking to them made me even more homesick at first but all those feelings quickly went away. So now, after talking with them I'm feeling sooooo de-stressified. ^_^ Now I'm just sleepy. :P

Before I go off to bed, I just wanted to tell you about my new internet friend, Martina. I met her through her reading my Lord of the Rings story, Boromir, Thou Shall Live. Anyway, she was so inspired by my story that she made 'photo manipulations' based entirely on my story! Aren't they gorgeous and beautiful? First one has most of the main characters to the story.

Second and third are the same except for different writings.

The last one is from a scene early on in my story where Galadriel decides to make the choice of saving Boromir's Life. Isn't it cool how it has the ripple effect? I also like the 'script' and the words... it's hard to believe I actually wrote those word. :P So weird...

Anyway, Maria as my loyal fan and friend, the original person who 'forced me' (:P jk) to write a story where Boromir lives, has been kind enough to host my manips on her site.
