The School Week is Almost Over!

Tomorrow's already Thursday! When it was Monday if felt like I would have to drag myself through this week... but tomorrow's already Thursday! ^_^ So happy!

Had English class in the morning; began with a freewrite on 'My Pet Peeves' and afterwards we all had a discussion about it. Everyone is getting to know each other more (especially since a lot of the students have dropped off and the group is smaller now) so everyone's speaking up more so the discussions are really interesting.

After class, Nichelle, Maki and I went to Subway for lunch. I got a roast beef sandwich and a clam chowder. Sooo good, I really like Subway's chowder. I also especially like getting the student value set in which I get a cookie! ^_^ Their peanut butter cookies are really good.

Walked with Nichelle to her Japanese class in Olapa then Maki and I went to the International Cafe so I could say hi to Linda Fujikawa. I also got a chance to chat with this girl who is currently taking Japanese 298. She says that it's a fairly easy class and Linda is such a nice teacher (she's probably giving out all A's to her students.) :P So it was nice getting some more reassurance for this class.

Stopped by the library so Maki could drop off a book she had borrowed then took some time to browse through the reference section. For our #4 essay for English 100, we have to do some library research so it was nice to look through some books to get an idea of what I need to research.

Had math class which was pretty easy then next I had ballet class. A lot of people didn't come to ballet class today so it was a nice, 'on the small side' group. It was nice because I was in the front a lot because though my technique isn't that good compared to some students who have been doing ballet for a while, I'm really good at remembering sequences and staying on beat. :P So Sharon tries to have me come up front with a few others to lead the rest of the class. ^_^

Got home and did my math homework as well as prepared notes for my history homework. Naomi's plane was supposed to land at 7:00 and we were going to leave the house at around that time but Naomi called at 6:50, saying that her plane had just landed! So we quickly left the house to go pick her up at the airport. She was tired from her trip but looked great. ^_^ We went by Kahala mall and picked up Panda Express and Korean BBQ for dinner. :P You can tell that Naomi misses good Asian food. lol!

Got home and had a nice relaxing dinner of take-out food which was all delicious. Afterwards, Naomi unpacked. She got us all some really nice 'omiyage'; I got nice earrings and a t-shirt! They're very 'me-ish', if you know what I mean. :P

Chatted with my father a bit then had quite a busy evening as I got so many phone calls from various people. :P Nichelle also called up a few times to get help for our history homework. I actually haven't finished it yet though it's due tomorrow. :P It's really easy though, just a short paper on the Justinian Law Code, making sure to answer 'who, what, when, where, how, and why'. I've already written all my notes on it from our book so it'll be quick in writing it all up. It's a take home quiz so gonna be worth five points.

Off to bed now, getting late. Have a nice day/afternoon/evening, wherever you are and whenever you're reading this! ^_^
