'Please Hogan... why do you do this to me?'

School for this week started off with English classes where Mrs. G read from some of the students' comments about the class, like whether the assignments seem boring or if we could go over more 'grammar work'. We then took a quiz which was pretty confusing; I hope I didn't mess it up too much. We then had a discussion on our reading assignment from last week on 'The Truth About Lying'. An interesting topic for discussion though it was REALLY annoying when this one students kept going on and on and on about his own personal life. :S He's really annoying whenever he talks because he talks fast and stumbles over his word so it sounds like he's slurring the whole time. *rolls eyes* A lot of us in class were trading glances and trying not listen... :P

Had lunch at home and watched an episode of Hogan's Heroes before going off to Math class. Very easy class, we actually went over two sections though we still finished thirty minutes early. :P So after class I took a few minutes to call up Naomi; she's in Ohio now having got there safely earlier this morning.

Ballet class was tough as always; I have to work really hard to be able to do any pirouettes. I'm still trying to strengthen my ankles so that I can probably go on the balls of my feet as high as I can.

Went home and read up last week's Entertainment Weekly magazine since I had to catch up what with the new issue arriving today. :P Then did my math homework and started on my English essay for which the first draft is due this Wednesday. Such a boring topic... about American TV talk shows. :S

Since Erin was still at class, Maki and I ate dinner just the two of us while watching a few episodes of Hogan's Heroes before trudging off to our rooms continue work on our English papers. lol! Seriously, we were almost going at a snail's pace back to our room...

We later on had an interesting experience when we heard kids yelling out 'Trick or Treat!!!' outside our house. Thankfully, we had little treat bags filled with goodies which Ericson had given us from the Pumpkin Party on Saturday. So we gave the goodies away and the kids were really happy about that. *wink!* Yeah, it's Halloween today... we're not celebrating in any way but we did put out our pumpkins in front of our door.

I've almost finished up my English essay but I'm going to 'tweak' it tomorrow. I think I have a History quiz tomorrow... oh well, probably not too difficult and besides, it's a quiz on Roman History! ^_^ Fun!

ah...okay. :P lol about that certain student during the discussion, hehe! I can just imagine it...

Those pumpkins are scary but cute. I wonder if kids in America really do play trick at houses when treats aren't given.
