~Hurrah, Hurrah, It's Finally the Weekend!~

History class was the first class of the day. One of my classmates, an older woman, brought her baby daughter to class (not even 1-year-old) and of course I wanted to hold the baby. :P So while the mother was getting her books and bags all organized, I was playing with the baby and everyone was saying how the baby will probably take everyone's attention away from Mr. Cassity. :P At that moment he walked in and saw me carrying the baby. You can imagine the funny look on his face. lol! Though the baby was still cute, I was still able to pay attention to class since Mr. Cassity talked about World War II. I actually like WWII history a lot and I find it all fascinating. Plus, I've seen numerous movies about that particular war (30 Seconds Over Tokyo, Patton, Pearl Harbor, The Young Lions, Sands of Iwo Jima, etc, etc). Learned a lot of interesting facts; for instance, that Joseph Stalin was named Time magazine's Man of the Year for 1945. :S Iiiiinteresting...

Theater class was spent working with Aimee for our final scene. Watched more of The Miracle Worker and began deciding about props and costumes. We also found out that the pump in the prop room can actually pump water for real! So we decided that we might use actually water to pump during our scene. ^_^ Exciting!

After that class, headed down to the cafeteria but first, Maki and I stopped by the Phi Theta Kapa office. I picked up my certificate since I won't be able to go to the induction ceremony this Saturday. :P It's a pretty cool certificate; looks 'authentic' and everything! lol! Had lunch in the cafeteria (made myself obenntou) with a few theater classmates.

Around 1:00 (a little earlier than usual), went to the International Cafe Center for the tea ceremony class. Learned quite a bit today and it's kind of shocking to realize that next week will be the last week that the International Cafe is open! Wow, the semester is ending soon... strange that it doesn't seem that way with sooo many deadlines to meet. :P

Geography class was more interesting than usual as we learned about Ecosystems and Biomes. Got back my second midterm and was *slightly* disappointed that I didn't do *that* well. Of course, I admit truthfully that I'm a bit of an overachiever and sometimes expect too much of myself. :P Plus, I did REALLY well for the first midterm so a bit disappointed that the second part I didn't do as well. However, for the whole midterm which is worth 200 points, I got 193 so after thinking of it that way, I'm very happy with how I did. ^_^

Went home for a bit then had to leave right away to pick Erin up. As soon as we were all home, we had our prayer meeting (a bit earlier than usual). Sang a few songs, talked about preparing our hearts for Easter, then began thinking of what to do for our Easter service. I'm going to keep it under my hat about what exactly we're going to do though I'll say that we'll be doing some special music. ^_^

I had to leave right away then for worship practice at Kaimuki Christian Church. I was SOOOO happy because Joe is back! He came with his whole family so it was fun to see the kids again. ^_^ Took turns playing the drums and it was really nice to watch him play; whenever I watch him play I pick up a lot on how to improve my playing and get new 'fill-ins.'

Got home around 8:15 and you can imagine how STARVED I was by then. :P Ate a good dinner then watched While You Were Sleeping with Erin and Maki. I know, I watched it recently, but this is really one of those movies I can watch over and over again. Such a cute movie and Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman have great chemistry together. Just gotta love the line said by the guy who thinks he has amnesia. "Do I like jell-o?" LOL!

Am really happy because I was able to talk to my parents for quite a bit. ^_^Also did some more 'calculating' over my schedule for the upcoming semester... working out little by little. It's just frustrating that I have to wait till Monday to register for the fall classes. :S Hopefully, even if the classes I want to take get filled up, because it's my last semester I might be able to get special overrides.

I'm SOOO happy that it's finally the weekend! Has Seriously been a crazy week... yay, I get to sleep in tomorrow! :P Good night!
