[Diego grabs Sid's neck and strangles him]
Sid: OK, I don't think I know you better!
The morning was spent doing our weekly cleanup and since Naomi's coming home, I did a lot of 'extra' cleaning. ^_^ Just wanted to make sure everything was really clean. After doing the laundry, Maki and I went out to go see Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. We first headed off for Kahala Theaters but when we got there, we found out that the whole mall was closed down because of flooding! The rain had been so bad, it even flooded all the way into the theaters! :P
So Maki and I headed quickly for Ward Theaters with just enough time to spare to catch the next showing of IA2. It was crazy trying to get parking; one person actually STOLE my PARKING SPACE! It was really infuriating since there was only about 2 minutes before the movie was about to start. I was going to pick a fight but the people got out of the car and ran off! Grrr! That is so rude! So out of exasperation, I decided to go find parking across the street at Ward Shopping Center. And the amazing thing was, though it was crazy crowded there, too, a spot opened up just for me! ^_^ Sooooooo happy! And thankful, because of the trailers before the movie started, Maki and I were able to get in just before the movie actually started AND get good seats! Hurray!

Favorite characters are still Diego and Sid though Scrat comes out a lot more now and is HILARIOUS! And the two new characters,

Went by Borders for a bit and looked around. Being a member is so nice since I get 20% off quite a bit. I bought one book by Madeleine L'Engle who's the author of the Wrinkle In Time series. I got her book Troubling a Star which is the fourth book of the Austen series which I also like quite a bit.
Maki wanted to go to some sort of Scottish Festival taking place at Kapiolani Park so from Ward center we drove over there. Unfortunately, because of the rain, the whole park of empy because 'mini-lakes' all around and mud everywhere. The whole park was just really flooded. :S So it seems the festival was cancelled so we went home. I picked up some sushi hand-rolls for a ligt lunch.
I did some writing and watched some episodes. For dinner, Erin made unagi which was real yummy. Then afterwards, we decided to put in action my April Fools Day trick. ^_^ The idea was that Maki and I will make a short April Fools Day video of us. And not just any video; a video of us talking after breathing in some helium. lol! Our voices came out sooooo strange! :P Anyway, through chat I called up a certain person (who shall remain nameless) and told that person that we were sending him/her a very good video of something he/she was really interested in. Instead, sent the April Fools Day message-video instead. :P Sooo funny, at least for us over here. LOL!

Was feeling a bit... down after watching Gone With the Wind especially since the first half ends a bit 'dark' so I watched Roll Bounce. It's a recent movie which came out about 70's roller disco. Loved the music, loved the roller disco, but the story was pretty awful. lol! Acting was pretty bad, storyline was bad... *shakes head sadly* But just gotta love 70's music! ^_^
Tomorrow's Sunday and then it's going to be Monday... spring break will be over! So sad that I have to be getting back into school mode. But happy that Naomi'll be coming home! ^_^ G'night y'all, sleep tight!

LOL...for some weird reason I thought I was reading Maki's blog and I was wondering why she was referring to herself in third person. And why the style of writing was so like yours. :P
