So Much Happened; A Full, Fun Day

Today's classes weren't as 'tiring' as I thought they'd be; it was actually a fairly fun school day! :P The morning was a bit 'tough' though to get out of bed. Slept pretty well but still, felt like I could sleep a lot more. ^_^

First class was Modern US History class; it was good to see all my classmates again. I got my chapter quiz back... I FINALLY got 40 out of 40! Mr. Cassity was commenting how close I had been for so long that I must feel really good. And I did! ^_^ I also just found out that a friend from that class (we always sit next to each) has a very small film company! He knew I liked acting to asked if I'd like to come to an upcoming audition that he and the company is going to be filming! I was pretty surprised and of course really excited about all of it! I actually will probably be unable to be in it because it'll be during the summer; however, as a friend he said I was welcome to come watch the auditions and just audition for fun and experience. I think I'll definitely be taking him up on his offer! No matter how much I may stink... lol!

Instead of doing any acting in theater class, today's was a lecture style class. Our teacher talked about character analysis and how we have to write one of for the character we'll be playing for each of our final scenes. I'm getting excited about my final scene of The Miracle Worker.

Lunch was an unusually quiet affair as it was just Maki, Leeland, Marni, and I. From 1:30 I went downt to the International Cafe for tea ceremony. I already have PLENTY of hours and points for completion of Service Learning; however, I'll probably continue to go just for the tea ceremony. I was also asked out to join some other events to help out; depending on how my studies are going, especially since we're heading towards the end of school, I might or might not get involved.

Today's Geography class was for the first time went on until the end of the official class time! :P We were going over the study guide for our upcoming test. It was a fun class though; the reason was because some the students, and including the teacher, were a bit... hmm... 'hyper.' lol! It's true! There was a lot of laughing and a lot of silliness. I mean, we were trying to be serious, but it was just hard for some reason... but I stilled learned a lot!

Went home and did some preparations for the upcoming Geography project. Naomi made a VERY YUMMY dinner (missed her cooking... lol!) of chicken in sweet-chili sauce, asparagus, and mashed potatoes with LOTS of melted cheese. Watched American Idol tonight; was so-so interesting since it was 'country' night and they all had to sing country music. I'm not too big a fan of country music so it just wasn't interesting for me. Voted for Elliot of course. :P

After that was House which I watched and all I can say is that House is the smartest doctor in the world... ^_^ The rest of the evening was spent being a complete vegetable... lol! No, not really. Did some writing and read up a bit for my theater class.

I have one class in the morning them I'm going to try to meet with my counsellor to talk about my plans for the upcoming semester. Then the afternoon will be spent studying for the Geography test. Grr... I just wish it were over and done with already. :P
