Hurray, I got to sleep in today! ^_^ I still have a lot of catching up to do in my sleep though. :P
Had a quick breakfast then Naomi, Maki, and I went off to do some quick errands before heading to Ward Center. First stopped by the bank then went to the post office to pick up a package. Then went to another bank where I had some things to do; then off to Ward! Took a little while to find parking but we finally found a nice spot.
First shopped at Borders since I had a 30% off coupon. I was able to use it to by The Miracle Worker dvd. ^_^ I LOVE that movie! The end always makes me cry because it's so perfect. Anne Brancroft and Patty Duke are geniuses in their roles and it's a bit daunting that Aimee and I will be doing our final theater scene from The Miracle Worker play. :P Will probably try to watch it tomorrow sometime.

Drove home and since I was tired but not really sleepy, I just sprawled on my bed and got to relax and finish reading my book. Very good book which I enjoyed. But now I have to start reading this book for History class. About the Islamic culture though I don't know anything else about it. I'd better get reading I guess. :P

I ordered the Grilled Pork Chops and to my surprise, the portions were huge! I almost had a hard time eating everything (almost... lol!).

Afterwards there was some talk of going to see a movie but since there's really nothing good showing ('cept for Ice Age 2 and though I like it, I don't know about paying to see it twice...) went home.
Decided to watch a movie on my own at home. ^_^ Watched 10 Things I Hate About You, a modern spin on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. Starring Heath Ledger and Julia Styles, I actually enjoyed it. There was actually character development, good acting, and a plot! I know I would have absolutely LOVED it except for it being rated PG-13 for good reason. No bad scenes, hardly any bad words, but it being a 'teen' flick, there was of course the innuendos. *sigh* Otherwise, good movie with a soundtrack I really liked. ^_^
I'm going to have to be up early in the morning tomorrow because I'm playing drums at the 8:30 service at Kaimuki Church. Nothing planned for the afternoon then I have a babysitting job in the afternoon. It's been such a short weekend... :P

That's a bit mean that they cut out that whole scene from Ice Age. Should have gone back or something. Anyway, YES, the food looks good...
read!
