It Has Rained Continually for 40 Days and 40 Nights Here in Paradise... Should Start Building An Ark... :P

Hello! Yes, I missed one day in writing my blog. :P Went to bed late so just decided not to write anything. Tomorrow woke up late, had a late lunch and watched Legend of Zorro, went to pick Erin up from her internship, went to the worship practice at Kaimuki Christian Church (which went REALLY well and I had so much fun), at dinner at home, watched Veggietales, and chatted with some people before going to bed. ^_^ That was quick and easy! :P

Ok, now on for today. Woke up late again and the first eventful thing that happened today was that when I went to pick up a Fedex package from the mailman, I slipped and fell from the wet garage pavement. :S I landed with the full weight on my left hand, mostly my thumb because of the angle so my thumb joint started swelling up. :S

Had a nice lunch and watched Lost in Space. Stupid movie but it's always an enjoyable watch. lol! Matt LeBlanc is 'amusing' to see in this movie, and Gary Oldman can always be counted on to play an evil baddie. ^_^

After the movie, I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing up my chapter and guess what... I finished it! I'm sooo happy that I was able to get it done and immediately had it uploaded. Then Erin dropped me off at the church around 6:00 for the Friday night service sound check. That went really quickly, only about 5 to 10 minutes, and then for about 30 minutes we were having a little jam session which was SOOO cool! Seriously, I've come to appreciate how fun it is to just 'jam' with some very talented musicians.

Worship went really well and it was so nice to be able to play the drums in the service. Pastor Ron was gone so we had a guest speaker, Jerry Hubbard, who is an amazing preacher. He gave a really good sermon which was timely I thought for what I was feeling (got confirmation later on that Erin had been feeling that, too). Was able to talk to him afterwards a bit which was nice.

Maki and I decided not to go out for dinner and we instead picked up some Jack in the Box for dinner. Watched the first half of Ghostbusters before I went to video chat with my family. ^_^

I'm off to bed now; another long day. My hand was feeling all right enough for me to play drums tonight (I put a freezing cold 'ice patch' on it so it numbed it completely) but now it's feeling really bruised. :P Hopefully it'll be all right by tomorrow. Thinking of maybe watching... Ice Age 2!!! So excited!!
