Only Three More Weeks of School Then Finals? Seems Short But The End Still Seems Far Away... :P

Walked to school this morning and got to class just in time since I had left the house a little later than usual. Good thing there was no quiz to study for. :P We learned about Japan's emergence into the world with the coming of Matthew Perry, the Ottoman Empire's decline, and Egypt's rise and decline. History is just SOOOO much fun, I can't understand anyone who doesn't find any kind of history fascinating, I seriously can't.

After history class, I went straight home and began working on my history take-home quiz for history 282. Around noon, I went back to campus to pick up not only Naomi and Maki, but also Misato and Junko. The two Japanese girls are my classmates from JPN 298 class and we had to get together to work on our presentation which is due this Friday. Naomi was nice enough to pick up sushi for our lunch and we ate it at home. We were able to make a simple powerpoint slideshow and decide what to talk about before both of them had to be back at campus for their classes at 1:45.

Naomi and I had to go to FedEx to send off a package then I was home once more, working on my quiz. Finished the multiple choice questions then had to work on the short essay which was on the United States' role in the first Indochina War (Vietnam). Interesting stuff and I wrote almost three pages about it. :P Also began gathering information for my Geography paper and presentation which is due this Thursday and next week. *sigh* There's just SOOO much due this week and next week! ~I Will Survive~~!! lol!

Almost forgot it was my turn to make dinner tonight so after picking Erin up from her class, I was able to do a little reading before making dinner. Tonight's menu consisted of oyako-don which turned out very well if I may say so. ^_^ Read some more after dinner; almost done with the book with just a few more chapters to go.

Watched one episode of Monk to relax then had a fun video chat with my mother. ^_^ Then I had to get my costume ready for The Miracle Worker scene I have to do tomorrow in theater class. It's not my final performance but it's my last 'dress rehearsal' in front of our teacher. I hope all goes well; Aimee and I are going to try using real water for the water pump scene. ^_^

G'night to all! Hope you all have a great week! Will be praying for everyone of Kanto Christian Church and School as you get ready for the BIG Garage Sale!!
