'Dazed' Day

Today's History class was 'slightly' depressing since we got our instructions for our final paper which is coming up real fast. Grr... :P Unlike the midterm paper which was actually fairly easy, I'm thinking this one's going to be tough. it's about the liberal media and propaganda so I need to do research about it. *sigh* I'm just really glad that for this I get to write a draft and get it checked by the teacher. ^_^

For theater class, the teacher had us all get in our groups and prepare for our final scenes. Then she took time to 'direct' three scenes for twenty minutes each. Much to our surprise, Aimee's and my scene is No. 1 so we had to immediately do our scene for her. :P At least we were well prepared so it didn't catch us off guard or anything like that. So we were able to perform well and she said that we don't have any worries over whether our final scene will work out. Yay!

The rest of the time was spent working on our introduction to the final scene. Aimee had her laptop so we also watched the last part from the movie The Miracle Worker which was VERY inspiring. I can't just NOT cry at the end of that movie!! :P So touching...

Been quite a long time since it's happened but Maki and I were able to go home for lunch for our Tuesday/Thursday schedule! Very nice indeed, lol! Made myself a nice lunch then watched Maid in Manhattan, the best thing being that Ralph Fiennes is in it. :P Besides that, a mediocre film and not too interesting.

Only about half the students came to Geography class today so it felt a little empty. Learned about Soil. Yippee (very sarcastic tone here...). Fortunately, the lecture was quickly over then we played a quiz game to test what we've learned so far. Did pretty well but was happy to get home. :P

Went to pick up Erin then after coming back, just completely relaxed. Naomi made a fantastically delicious dinner. Curry, chicken legs, hash-brown and potatoes, alfalfa salad... a FEAST!

Tonight's American Idol was really cool since the contestants sang Queen songs. Favorite performances would have to be of Elliot doing Somebody to Love and Taylor's Silly Little Thing Called Love. I was pretty upset though because Ace (who I do NOT like) completely ruined We Will Rock You. *rolls eyes*

After that was House, M.D. and I must say, tonight's is already one of my all-time favorite House episode so far. Excellent plot. Chatted with a few people afterwards and had to compose some e-mailed; school-related e-mails which I hope to get replies to. I need to start trying to get classes for the upcoming summer and fall sessions. I just hope my schedule works out...

Off to bed now; tomorrow I have only one class then I need to work on a couple of papers. *sigh* Drawing near to the end of the semester is good but tiresome... lol! G'night!

Ace? :P

And yeah, the ending is so good in "A Miracle Worker".

"She knows!"
