Queasy Stomache...

This morning was 'interesting' I must say... I had a terrible stomache ache all night and didn't sleep very well. :S Finally dragged myself out of bed around 9:30 but couldn't eat anything. Felt pretty awful I must say...

However, by 10:00 when I church service began I was starting to feel better so that was nice. Naomi led service today then afterwards we had a 'house' meeting to talk about who does what chores and such.

Today's third Sunday so we went out to eat at Happy Day's Chinese restaurant for lunch. I was feeling a lot better and was getting pretty hungry by then since I hadn't eaten breakfast. :P *sigh* The food there is sooooo good. Yum yum!

Got home and watched a few episodes of Firefly with Naomi; got to lie down on her bed for a while. After that, I decided to work on my Japanese homework. I finally got two-thirds done by late afternoon which I'm really happy about. It wasn't 'too' bad; just time consuming since it takes about double the time it is for me to write in Japanese instead of English.

Naomi was out for the evening so Erin, Maki, and I ate leftovers from last night's dinner at Joe and Mercy's house. We watched How to Steal a Million which I gave to Erin for Christmas. ^_^ Such a great movie and Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole are great together! Eli Wallach is also hilarious and always fun to watch. There are so many witty lines throughout the whole movie. Favorites are (Audrey Hepburn is Nicole, Peter O'Toole is Simon):

Nicole: For a burglar you're not very brave, are you?
Simon: I'm a society burglar. I don't expect people to rush about shooting me!

Nicole: I didn't want to keep you waiting, so I got engaged to him. Is it alright? Am I on time?
Simon: Perfectly. In fact, we have ten more minutes, so if you want to go back and marry him...

Such a fun, romance, caper movie which I highly recommend!

Did some more 'tweaking' on my Japanese paper and did some internet surfing. Tomorrow is the Golden Globe Award Ceremony! I don't care at all for most of the movies/actors/actresses nominated though I hope that:
1) Peter Jackons gets Best Director for King Kong
2) Reese Witherspoon gets Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for Walk the Line
3) Either Walk the Line or Pride and Prejudice wins Best Musical or Comedy
4) Joaquin Phoenix gets Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for Walk the Line
5) Hugh Laurie gets Best Actor in a Television Drama Series for House, M.D.
6) Chronicles of Narnia gets Best Original Song for "Wunderkind" sung by Alanis Morissette
7) King Kong gets Best Original Score

I have a feeling that there's going to be quite a few surprises though... :P

G'night! So happy that tomorrow's a holiday so I won't have to go to school. ^_^ Isn't that nice?
