Erin led our church service today and gave a wonderful sermon about "Waiting on the Lord", about how we have to be prepared for the time when the Lord wants us to 'move' and do His will. It applies very much to the four of us here as we are starting to build up a new church; we have to prepare ourselves for what's to come.

There were a LOT of people there; a lot more people than I had expected. Many familiar faces from Kaimuki Christian church was there and there were also people from the church at Ewa Beach. Also, Abby's parents' (Lisa and Stuart) relatives came and there were MANY of them! The lunch menu was hamburgers and hot dogs which were delicious as well as many salads and at least six different kinds of chips. :P Yum!

Though most people were outside, a lot of us were inside the house because of the nice air conditioned rooms. :P I was inside mostly, watching the kids which was fun for me. It was nice to see that Connie and Brad were also there with Braden since I had

There were four cakes all together and it was funny as they were setting it all up, ALL the kids were hovering around, eyeing the cakes with hungry eyes. lol!

We left the party a little after 3:00 and after dropping Linda off (she lives only a couple blocks away from us) we went home. I was so tired out for some reason that I decided to lay down and bfore I knew it, I had slept almost 2 hours! That felt goooooood... ^_^
Did some computer then Erin was nice enough to make dinner of gyoza and a potato/cheese dish. Afterwards cleaning up, Maki and I got to relax and watch a movie then after the movie, I watched an episode of "Love That Bob" starring Bob (Robert) Cummings. His show is soooo hilarious for an 'old', black and white show. :P
Only one class tomorrow though I have quite a bit of schoolwork I can do during the day including getting started on my Japanese homework and write up my Andrew Carnegie paper (which is actually due on Tuesday... eep :P). lol! No worries, it's an easy paper. Anyways, off to bed now; good night and sleep tight! Have a wonderful week!
