How I Love School (So Far)!
Sorry, it's late and I had forgotten completely about my blog so I'm going to make this kinda quick. ^_^
Had my history class this morning where we watched the first half of a documentary film of Andrew Carnegie. Pretty interesting about what kind of life he had and how he grew up, sooning become the 'Richest Man in the World'.
Next was Theater class and I didn't get to do any acting but instead watch others do some short skits. They were all pretty good so I'm now nervous for my turn next week. :P After class, Maki and I went down to the library to meet up with Nichelle. We helped her with her Japanese homework and I must say, her class seems hard! She only just learned hiragana (the whole thing) last week and for a quiz she has to hear a Japanese word then write it out! Very tough...
Went home, had a late lunch, did some computer then Naomi dropped Maki and I off at the campus a little early so she could get to a meeting. I got to read a little bit before our Geography class began. She gave us our first assignment which is due next month then we played a quiz game! The whole class was divided into five teams of five people and we had to answer questions about what we've learned as well as identifying countries on maps. Identifying countries was a bit difficult because she chose very SMALL countries... like Burma... Maki's team got first place and my team was second, off by two points. ^_^
Class finished early which was nice. Maki and I walked home then I did some various homework. Mostly trying to finish up my History 282 homework which is due next Tuesday. Maki made dinner tonight of chicken, maze-gohan, and cabbage soup. Yum!
We had another house meeting after dinner, talking about what are plans are for our church and as a 'family'. Will be interesting what happens in the upcoming weeks!
Worked even more on my homework and I think I've finished up the multiple choice questions are of my take home history quiz. :P Hard stuff... only one question I need to look into more. Then I have a short essay then I have to write a paper on an essay by Andrew Carnegie.
Tomorrow morning is Japanese class... EEP! Wish me luck!
