One Class Day, Hurray!

Today is the first time to go to my History 152 class since I didn't arrive until late on Monday. Because the four of us have such an 'interesting' schedule, it came out so that I'm the one who has to walk to school on Monday and Wednesday mornings. :P *sigh* To be the youngest and having to put up with three evil 'sisters'... lol! Just kidding! Actually, I don't mind walking much; nice opportunity to listen to music on my i-pod. :P

Well, this morning's walk wasn't too great, mostly because I chose to wear flip-flops and that just wasn't a good idea. I think I have blisters... I'll make sure to wear my tennis shoes when I have to walk to school. I made it to class in time and it was nice seeing Nichelle again. There were a few familiar faces, one of them the guy in my English class who was pretty annoying... *groan* And he sits on Nichelle's and my side of the room! *sigh*

Was a really fun class and I'm already getting excited about the class. ^_^ So fun! After class, chatted a bit with Nichelle then went up to the parking lot where Naomi was waiting. So we traded with her going to her own class and I took the car back home. Relaxed in my room, watching a movie then went to pick Naomi and Maki up at noon.

Came home then we had a nice lunch. Watched Showtime which I had borrowed a few weeks ago from Netflix but hadn't had a chance to watch it since it was in Hawaii the whole time I was away. It was a funny movie though nothing to watch again. I did however enjoy how well it spoofed so many buddy-cop movies out there. And Robert De Niro is always a joy to watch on screen as he is a very talented actor. His subtle humor is refreshing opposite Eddie Murphy's outrageous and 'too' silly humor; I just couldn't get 'Donkey' out of my mind whenever he opened his mouth... lol My favorite part in the whole movie is when this director is 'teaching' how TV cops test for drugs by lightly spearing the bag then pressing the pinky lightly on the powder and taste it to see whether it's drugs or not. Robert De Niro, with the perfect deadpan look, asks, "What if it's cyanide?" HA HA! If you think about it, it's true! How exactly is anybody sure if whatever they taste is poisonous or not? Lol! But like I said, a good movie making fun of buddy-cop movies and reality tv shows.

The rest of the afternoon was spent reading the homework due for my theater class tomorrow. Interesting chapters on what it means to be a 'talented' actor/actress and how to relax any and all tension so that you can concentrate more when acting. Very interesting. I also did some writing (yes, Maria, I'm almost done with the whole 'part' with Boromir and you-know-who) and took another micro-nap.

For dinner Naomi made tuna melt sandwiches which were yummy. Did some internet surfing then watched an episode of Firefly with Naomi. Simon is becoming one of my most favorite characters on the show though I still love Wash, Mal, Jayne, River, Kaylee, and Zoe. :P Ok, I basically pretty much the whole cast...

Read some fanfic and now I'm off to bed. Tomorrow's another three class day. I'm interested to see how the History class is going to go and really excited for the Theater class. ^_^ Geography I have a feeling will be one of my least favorite classes though I'll have to see how it goes. Good night to all; till tomorrow!
