Phew... Long Day :P

Today felt like a very long day... one of those days. :P History class was spent discussing Carnegie again though this led to a heated discussion about the Gilded Age. In fact, the class went ten minutes over time and would have went on for quite a while if Mr. Cassity didn't realize the time and saw all the students for the next class waiting out in the hallways. lol! Interesting class; getting to know my classmates more so getting more comfortable in the class.

Next was theater class and I'm probably so tired partly because of the theater class. :P We had to do very hard-working exercises like playing 'Mirror' (one person has to copy the other person's movements just like a mirror) and 'Machine' (where we individually have to pretend we're part of a whole machine). Everyone was sweating and breathing so heavily after the exercises!

Maki and I went home and I had a very quick lunch before heading right back to the campus. Frist I had to confirm something at the KCC office then went to sign up for the International Cafe. I was pretty surprised because no one was there except for Fujiwara-san and one other guy who was signing up, too. Three people came and went and I forced myself to stay there for about an hour and fifteen minutes before it just got too dull. THEN I found out that the time I spent there today wouldn't be counted in my hours for service learning! It felt like such a waste of time (another reason why I'm so tired today because of that 'ordeal').

Went home to pick Maki up then we had our Geography class. Covered some difficult topics today like atmospheric pressure, the Coriolis effect, and what causes 'wind'. :P It's SO nice that Maki and I had studied so much of the basics in high school so that we could understand most of what the teacher was saying. Unfortunately, many other students just didn't seem to get it so the teacher had to go over some things over and over. :P Which was good I guess so now I understand it fairly well now.

Got home and 'crashed' in front of the computer. :P Such a busy day so it was nice to finally just relax. I did a little work on my History short essay then I helped Erin with her project. She video-taped my tap dancing to make some sort of 'short' video. I hope it came out ok... didn't choreograph the dance very well... ^_^ Oh, well; Erin's a pro so I know she'll make everything look just great.

Naomi made 'Italian' dinner tonight; a mixed pasta dish (hard to explain though it was delicious) and all sorts of toasted 'breads' like garlic bread, bread with cheese, bread with tomatoes, etc. Yummy!

After dinner, Maki and I watched Flightplan which was sooo much fun to watch! Jodie Foster is such an excellent actress and her performance of a mother so worried over the safety of her daughter is up there with Kim Basinger's character in Cellular. It's incredible to watch lengths these mothers would protect their kids. ^_^ Peter Sarsgaard is also great in his role as the air marshall and of course, Sean Bean is perfect in his role as the captain. Woohoo! He doesn't die!! lol! An inside joke for those who know that Sean Bean basically dies in most of his movies...

I got to talk with my parents which was lots of fun. Bianca was going completely berserk since she wants attention and see's how my parents are just watching and talking to the tv! She must think humans are weird... especially when my father picks her up and sticks her face in the camera! lol! She has such a 'woe-is-me' look on her face. :P

Off to bed; so happy that there's only one class tomorrow though I'm going to try to get one hour in the International Cafe. :S Ciao!

"It's Like Putting Gasoline on a Flame"

Just wanted to say the Galaxy Quest quote since Maria and I had been talking about how just like The Emperor's New Groove, Galaxy Quest is one of those VERY quotable movies... ^_^ Aaaaanyway...

The next door neighbor's dog is soooo annoying in the morning especially... he keeps barking in this 'hoarse, gruff' voice... and ON TEMPO for LONG periods of time! GAH! I almost felt like pulling my hair out but since it's the landownders dog, I really can't yell at him or anything... grrr...

Ok, frustration venting over with. ^_^

Naomi and I had a few things to do at the bank so we got those little 'chores' done before she dropped me off at the campus. History class was interesting, especially since we're going into Japanese history. ^_^ So much fun, learning about Shogun and Daimyos and such.

Afte the class, instead of going home, I went with Nichelle to her Japanese 101 class. For my own Japanese homework I needed to 'observe' a Japanese class and decided to get that over and done with as soon as possible. :P It was actually a fun class to observe; so funny because the Japanese teacher looks exactly like Pastor Masa Kato of the Makuhari church! Same mustache, glasses, and everything! He was an excellent teacher though and I could see the students actually enjoying the class.

Met up with Naomi and Maki then together went home. Had a nice lunch and watched an episode of Love That Bob which was HILARIOUS; especially the scene where they make fun of old silent films with Bob Cummings pretending to be an exaggerated version of a Rudolph Valentino character. lol!

Finished reading The 47 Ronin Story after that; it was a pretty good book which I enjoyed though it's sad that all 47 of the ronin died. Or, I guess it's not supposed to be sad per se because they got to honorable commit seppuku. *shudder* Just the thought is awful...

Next I began work on my History class's take-home chapter quiz. I have to completely read two chapters from my text book to be able to do the thirty multiple-choice questions. Really tricky questions, took a couple of hours just to do that. :P Also started on the short essay question though haven't finished it yet.

Relaxed a bit after studying then since today is Monday, it was my turn to make dinner. I steamed potatoes and made German potatoes which turned out VERY yummy (thanks to Mommy for the idea)! Very nice dinner indeed.

Did some internet surfing then watched Truly, Madly, Deeply which I just got today in the mail (VERY cheap on towerrecords.com since I got an additional 15% off of it since I'm such a loyal customer). lol! Starring Alan Rickman and Juliet Stevenson, it was a very interesting drama. I must say though that the acting was impeccable and I had no complaints. Juliet Stevenson was great and some scenes she made me want to cry with her and all I can say is that this proves even more the versatility of Alan Rickman. Here's yet another film where he plays a completely different character of what I've seen him. Plus, it's the first time for me to hear him sing. ^_^ Not a movie I can watch over and over and over again though since it has a sad ending... but I know I'll be watching my favorite parts again. The two main characters are have some really 'cute' scenes; favorite being where he's singing and she's dancing, both of them being very silly indeed. lol!

After the movie, played a bit of Destruct-o-Match which I LOOOOVE; helps to 'numb the brain'. lol! You know... like Taipei or Bejewled! *wink!*

In closing, here's a picture of me and Nika that Naomi took for me yesterday. Turned out so well but I forgot to put it up on yesterday's blog. Isn't Nika so cute! Off to bed now; tomorrow I'll probably be on campus all day for my classes in the morning, then lunch, then International Cafe, one more class, then finally I get to go home at 4:30. ^_^ G'night!

~Sunday~

Naomi led today's Sunday service and talked about 'Your Calling to Serve the Church', talking about our not only having to prepare to 'build' a church but to also ask for our part in the church and to seek our calling. A very encouraging word for all of us as we seek God's will for our church here in Hawaii.

After the service, relaxed in our rooms a bit then we left for Koko Marina and ate at our favorite Greek restaurant. Their gyros are soooo good and I usually always get their gyros sandwich. Yum! Afterwards we went over to Costco which is really close by. There were so many nice DVDs but I was very good and only got Flightplan. ^_^ Was almost tempted to buy The Village but decided to just rent it sometime.

Went home then Erin and I went over to Waikiki beach for about an hour. So nice to get out and sun bathe a bit. The sun was sooo hot and in contrast the water was sooo cold. :P Now I have a nicer tan since I was pretty 'white' compared to a lot of people living in Hawaii. lol!

After we got home, Maki and Erin went to some sort of Chinese concert which Maki needs to go to write a report on it for Music class. I stayed home and watched Stealth which I had borrowed. All I can say is that I completely understand why the critics were so harsh on it. :P The plot was so silly that it was actually kind of funny and the characters were very 'stale' and 'flat'. Jamie Foxx dies halfway through the movie, and there was absolutely no chemistry between Josh Lucas and Jessica Biel. *rolls eyes* Basically, it gets down to a very badly written script. :P Even Josh Lucas' good looks could not save this movie... lol! Almost, but not quite.

Erin and Maki came back a little after 6:00 then the four of us went to Christi and Brandon's hourse for dinner. Tina and Yoko were there as well as Mercy, Nika, and Kyla (Joe's in Los Angeles for work). We all had a grand time together; Brandon made dinner which was a type of spaghetti with the most delicious sauce I've eaten in a while! The cheesebread he made was also incredibly delicious...

Watched The Incredibles while eating and even watched Jack Jack Attack which was Erin's and Maki's first time to see! :P Soooo hilarious! Then after the movie and Merci and the kids had left (they live right upstairs), we just talked while Brandon played with his lasso, trying to lasso everyone (unsuccesfully). lol!

Now, back home and am just finishing up my blog. Tomorrow I have history class in the morning then hopefully I'm going to be able to 'observe' Nichelle's Japanese class for a project I have to do for my own Japanese class. ^_^ Should be interesting... Good night, sleep tight!

Quiet, Relaxing Day

Felt so nice to be able to sleep in today. ^_^ Woke up a little after 9:00 and did absolutely nothing worth mentioning all morning. lol! Was on my computer mostly reading fanfiction and doing some writing.

Had a nice relaxing lunch while flipping tv channels. Then focused on reading The 47 Ronin Story since I'll be having a paper due on it in a few weeks. Already...! Time goes by so quickly... read about 2/3 now which is good; it's a fairly easy read but some of the plotline is getting tedious... :P

Later in the afternoon Maki and I watched The Island. I had heard so much about it and how critics had hated it; however, I thought it was really, really good! A bit of Minority Report and Sixth Day in it and the action sequences were pretty fantastic. Scarlet Johansson was 'so-so' but the rest of the cast was great; especially Ewan McGregor, Steve Buscemi, and of course, Sean Bean who played an excellent bad guy. :P

Naomi made dinner which was ground beef (Japanese-flavoring) over rice and mixed vegetables. Very Japanese dinner which was nice. ^_^

Today (or actually tomorrow in Japan) was my mother's birthday so we got to have a nice, fun video chat. ^_^ I'm so excited and happy that she liked the presents Naomi and I sent her which was a matching top and jacket. ^_^ Very 'Mommy-ish' with lots of sparkly beads on it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Off to bed now, good night!
"Tomorrow is Always Fresh With No Mistakes In It"

Ok, it's really, REALLY late right now so I'm going to try to make this very quick...

Had Japanese class in the morning which went very well. Little by little I'm making friends here and there; also, because all the students are Japanese (only one other girl is hapa like me), they're very friendly. I think I'm going to start talking 'Kansai-ben' and other different Japanese dialects since most of the Japanese students are from those areas. I'm so happy because I have no homework for next week! ^_^

Went home and had a nice lunch while watching Love That Bob. HILARIOUS episodes though I didn't get to finish it... Had Geography Lab which was pretty interesting though it's all stuff I've learned before. Fairly simple though a bit tedious; still, Maki and I were able to finish in about an hour and fifteen minutes and left the classroom around 3:00 (class is supposed to finish at 4:30). :P

Walked home then was able to relax and do some computer. For dinner, the four of us went out to eat Thai food with Tiffany. It was nice with just the five of us and we were able to have very nice fellowship. Stopped by a Coffee and Tea shop and I got a 'real chocolate frappuccino' (no caffeine).

We all went to our house and watched Anne of Green Gables which Tiffany brought. It was a little over 3 hours long and I enjoyed every minute. I haven't watched it in sooo long and I forgot just how much I had loved Anne with an 'e'. :P We're thinking of watching Anne of Avonlea in a few weeks then after that, the third sequel which I haven't even seen yet!

Very late now and off to bed; am sooo happy that tomorrow is Saturday and I get to sleep in as much as I want!! Huzzah! ^_^

Such a Day Full of Creativity

Had History class first and I got back my quiz... 39 out of 40! I got all the multiple choice questions right (30) and got 9 out of 10 for the short essay. Puuuuurty good (I peeked at some of my neighbor's scores... :P). The rest of the class was spent talking about Andrew Carnegie's essay on Wealth. Basically, Mr. Cassity completely hates it... :P as did the other 'liberals' in my class. I mostly listened because it was pretty interesting to hear the whole discussions about the 'rights of the wealthy' and about 'charity'. :D

Next was theater class and I finally got to act out my scene! My teacher said it was the first time a girl has done the role of the Marine corporal in all of her theater classes! ^_^ Very flattering. Everyone's critique on it was also very flattering as everyone said I did a good job. The best compliment though was from my teacher who said that the overall feel of the scene was really good and that it was very well thought out. As I'm striving to be a director, that was the kind of compliment I'll really treasure.

I also got to do my introduction in front of the class which went well. I got quite a bit of cheers for stating that I want to be the first women to win the Best Director Academy Award if no one does so by the time I hopefully become director. ^_^

Went home and made fried rice for lunch which I ate while watching Love That Bob. Worked on trying to finish up my Lord of the Rings fanfic chapter...

Geography class was pretty interesting though I can't help but feel sleepy during that particular time of day. Watched a National Geographic documentary about global warming and some of the effects in different parts of the world; especially Alaska and the Caribbean. It was cool because Edward Norton was the host and narrator for the documentary (some may know him in his role of Steve the bad guy in The Italian Job).

Went home and did more writing (as I get closer to getting done, the more frantically I write to finish by the end of the day). Maki made pizza for dinner and we watched another episode of Love That Bob. Took a break from computer to do some reading then we had our prayer meeting. Very good meeting; talked about our church and how we have to continue to pray.

Erin was nice enough to help me with my Japanese homework then later on my mother helped me even more. ^_^ It's so nice to have such wonderful teachers. I'm glad though that they're saying that my writing has already begun to improve. Hopefully I want to try to write better and better throughout this whole semester.

Then I did even MORE writing, this time for my fanfic... and... I finished!!! It felt sooooo good to complete the chapter! I'm all fired up to continue the story again; I'm fairly bursting with creativity! ^_^

Tomorrow I have Japanese and Geography Lab classes... hope they go well and smoothly. Sweet dreams to all!

Did a Lot of Writing Today...!

Only one class today! Hurray! History started off with a quiz and I think I aced it though I'm not quite sure if I wrote the short answer question properly... we'll see; hopefully it was all right. Finished learning about the Iberian Colonies then started into Chinese history. Next week we'll start on Japanese history which I'm very much looking forward to. ^_^ Oh, just today I found out that there's a guy who's in both the History classes I'm taking, too. :P

After class, hung around with Nichelle a bit as we waited to meet up with Rachel so I could give her my omiyage to her from Japan. Said good-bye then I went back home and did a little reading. Picked Naomi and Maki up from their classes then after staying at home a little bit, the three of us went down towards Kahala. Dropped Maki off at the post office since she needed to do some errands then Naomi and I went over to the First Hawaiian Bank.

I needed to get some things straightened out with my accound and thankfully everything went pretty smoothly. I also got help to open up an online account so I can look over my bank statements online. VERY nice feature!

Picked Maki up then went home to eat a late lunch. Watched Undercover Blues which I hadn't watched in a LOOONG time so it was so much fun. Dennis Quaid is sooo cool and Stanley Tucci is simply a RIOT! I love it whenever he 'clicks' his switchblade open then states "My naaaame... is Muerte! Death!" LOL! He cracks me up...

The rest of the afternoon was spent toiling over my Japanese homework... but it's finally all done! So happy about that...

Erin made dinner of pork and chicken katsu as well as mabou-doufu. ^_^ Yum! After dinner decided to watch a movie but instead worked very hard on writing my fanfiction. I haven't written in SOOOO long and my fans are about ready to lynch me. :P Well, glad to say that I'm hoping that I'll have this chapter I've been working on for months will be completed DEFINITELY by this weekend (I hope...) :P I really hope I can though.

Tomorrow's a three-class-day; History class should prove to be interesting as we're going to talk about the growth of American industry. Hopefully for theater class I'll finally get to do my introduction and hopefully my short acting scene, too. ^_^ G'night!

Work, Work, Work

I'm going to have to keep this short because I have 'stuff' to do... :P College girl, remember? lol!

Anyway, had history class in the morning and we were able to finish watching the Andrew Carnegie documentary. It was interesting but I was still glad it was over... :P

Then I had Theater class which was lots of fun; the little 'exercises' we did were hilarious. lol! Stuff like pretend you're ten years old and you're being made to wear these shoes you hate so you take a LOOOONG time to get ready to go out with your mom (who's making you wear the shoes). Then four people were able to do their 'scenes'. Maki did today and she did really well!

Before going home, Naomi had called and asked us to stop by the grocery store to pick up some stuff. After Maki and I did that, we had a nice lunch at home (I made egg-drop hot and sour soup, YUM!).

Did some homework before heading off to Geography class. It's a rather boring class because the teacher isn't that good at teaching. Some students are even sleeping VERY obviously. :P tsk tsk on them... I couldn't help yawning, too, though... :P One good thing is that this class finishes early though. ^_^

Walked through the campus so I could find out the time for when the International Cafe opens from next week. I'll have to start spending 3 hours a week there from next week... :S Eep! Oh, well, at least the 27 hours total that I have to spend with the group includes fun activities where they sometimes go to the beach and stuff. ^_^

Got home then worked on my Japanese homework which is such a hassle. It's not just the Japanese that's hard; it's the rather 'inane' topics which I have to write on. *rolls eyes* It's a class to help deal with other people, keeping your own responsibilities, and learning how to tutor other people. The thing is... I know pretty much all about it! So when it says for you to write about 'how to do it' or 'how you can work on it', it's like "I got it already!" *sigh* I guess other people don't get it though and never had a chance to work with the community.

Naomi made dinner which was good (as always) then right afterwards, we watched Transporter 2. Such a fun movie; the action is soooo 'unbelievable' but who cares if you're entertained, right? Plus, Jason Statham is too cool... The bloopers were pretty hilarious, too; especially when Jason Statham is 'trying' to flip this girl over his shoulder (she falls into the lake and the look on his face is soo funny!).

Mommy helped me with my Japanese homework which I'm so grateful for. It's a bit frustrating for me when I write because when I look back I'm like, "Huh? What in the world was I trying to say?" :P I know... practice, practice, practice and practice makes perfect. *sigh* Long ways to go...

Anyway, going to sleep now. Only one class tomorrow but I have a lot of work to do. Ciao for now!

The Potato or George Washington...

The title of my blog comes from a discussion we were having in this morning's history class; which had more impact on history, the potato or George Washington? It's actually a very 'deep question' because it deals with "The Columbus Exchange", how the economy had such phenomenal changes when Columbus found the Americas. Plants and animals were exchanged between the two main land masses on the earth; diseases were also brought over from Europe, Asia, and Africa to the Americas which had much to do with the fact that the Americas have such a 'European' impact. Well, I could go on and on and on about it because it's such a fascinating idea. :P Just think, the first thing that pops into your head when you imagine 'Italian food' is spaghetti or pizza. Imagine though if tomatoes were never brought over to Europe from the Americas... ^_^ Also, having to do with the 'potato or George Washington' thought is would there ever have been such a mass migration from Ireland if there had been no potatoes for the Potatoe Famine? Interesting ideas...

Came home and did a little reading before going to pick Naomi and Maki up at noon. Made ramen for lunch while watching two episodes of Love That Bob. I then proceeded to finish up all my homework for History class tomorrow. Sooo happy that's over and done with (the chapter quiz). The Andrew Carnegie essay was tons of fun to write since I loved his essay "Wealth". Very insightful on the responsibities and duties of the rich and wealthy.

Today is Monday so it was my turn to prepare dinner. I cooked rice then after letting it sit a while, I made DELICIOUS (if I may say so) omuraisu. ^_^ Very gooooooood... I love all 'rice dishes'.

After dinner, I helped out the school kids back in Japan with their sign dance. They are doing SOOOO well and am very proud of them. I could tell however that since it's been almost a year of doing the same dances (and the fact that they're kids and very smart and very quick to learn) they need... hmm... a new 'challenge'. So I challenged them to choreograph a fun dance all on their own. Of course I'll help out whenever I can (it's soooo frustration being over HERE when I KNOW I would love choreographing a new dance) but I'd like to see them doing something with the least amount of help from me. I have every faith they could do it. ^_^

Said good-bye, then the four of us decided to watch.... Red Eye!! I had ordered it from Amazon.com recently and it arrived a lot faster than I originally had thought it would. I must say, it was JUST as exciting and thrilling as it might have been to watch it for the first time. It's a really well done film. I like stories where the hero isn't some sort of 'action-super-spy figure' character but instead ordinary people forced into extraordinary circumstances. In a way I would say Red Eye is similar to Cellular in that sense. The ordinary hero against 'super' bad guys. ^_^

Watched the bloopers which were pretty funny; there was one scene where Cillian Murphy is trying to be very serious but there was a fly which was buzzing around and distracting him. lol!

The movie over, we all went to our rooms and I did a little, itsy bitsy bit of Japanese homework before deciding to practice my juggling. I can do three types of juggling now; not very well but I can 'do' it. ^_^ Very proud of myself!

In closing, here's a picture of Lisa and Stewart's (the parents of Abby's birthday party from yesterday) dog Buddy. Isn't he sooo small and white? It was hilarious when Don went to it and said, "Hey there buddy! What's your name?" LOL! The look on his face was so funny when I said, "His name IS Buddy." ^_^

Three fun classes tomorrow! Ciao!

Oh What a Wonderful Day!

Erin led our church service today and gave a wonderful sermon about "Waiting on the Lord", about how we have to be prepared for the time when the Lord wants us to 'move' and do His will. It applies very much to the four of us here as we are starting to build up a new church; we have to prepare ourselves for what's to come.

After the service, relaxed a little while until noon when Naomi, Maki, and I picked up Linda (a lady from church) to go to Ewa Beach to celebrate Bella and another girl named Abby's birthdays (both of them recently turned one-year-old). Took about 45 minutes to get there since we got 'slightly' lost on the way. :P But we made it there safely and on time!

There were a LOT of people there; a lot more people than I had expected. Many familiar faces from Kaimuki Christian church was there and there were also people from the church at Ewa Beach. Also, Abby's parents' (Lisa and Stuart) relatives came and there were MANY of them! The lunch menu was hamburgers and hot dogs which were delicious as well as many salads and at least six different kinds of chips. :P Yum!

Though most people were outside, a lot of us were inside the house because of the nice air conditioned rooms. :P I was inside mostly, watching the kids which was fun for me. It was nice to see that Connie and Brad were also there with Braden since I hadn't seen them since I got back to Hawaii.

There were four cakes all together and it was funny as they were setting it all up, ALL the kids were hovering around, eyeing the cakes with hungry eyes. lol!

(I have tons and tons of pictures from the birthday party but since it'll take all night to upload them, I'm putting only a couple up. I might put up a few more tomorrow or some other time.) I had to put this cute picture of Bella with Naomi though; Bella has the most interesting expression on her face... lol!

We left the party a little after 3:00 and after dropping Linda off (she lives only a couple blocks away from us) we went home. I was so tired out for some reason that I decided to lay down and bfore I knew it, I had slept almost 2 hours! That felt goooooood... ^_^

Did some computer then Erin was nice enough to make dinner of gyoza and a potato/cheese dish. Afterwards cleaning up, Maki and I got to relax and watch a movie then after the movie, I watched an episode of "Love That Bob" starring Bob (Robert) Cummings. His show is soooo hilarious for an 'old', black and white show. :P

Only one class tomorrow though I have quite a bit of schoolwork I can do during the day including getting started on my Japanese homework and write up my Andrew Carnegie paper (which is actually due on Tuesday... eep :P). lol! No worries, it's an easy paper. Anyways, off to bed now; good night and sleep tight! Have a wonderful week!

Glory Road

I must say, this morning started off by giving me quite a fright! When I opened up my laptop, it couldn't boot into Windows XP! It felt awful having your computer act up like that and not be able to start at all! So I was a little miserable in the morning.

Erin, Maki and I decided to go to watch Glory Road starring the wonderful, wonderful Josh Lucas. ^_^ It's a Jerry Bruckheimer movie and very similar to Remember the Titans as in that it's a sports movie (basketball for Glory, football for Titans), deals with having blacks on the sport teams, and the team making it to the top, showing the world that it's not about the color of skin. Met up with Ericson at the theater, making it just in time for the movie to start. :P I must say, it was a fantastic movie and just as good as Remember the Titans. The team consists of college students instead of high school students so the characters are a little bit more 'mature' (though the teasing between the players are pretty hilarious!). However, because the story deals with more 'adults' than high school students, some of the racial prejudices and hatreds were pretty intense compared to Titans. Very 'real' if you know what I mean; some parts were really scary and frightening.

One thing I liked best I think was the spectacular cinematography, especially during the basketball scenes. Very well done. The acting was also well done, especially like I mentioned the fabulous Josh Lucas. ^_^

After the movie, Ericson left and the rest of us went to Borders to do some shopping. I found a nice 365 day calendar called "The Duh Awards" for a VERY good price. I also got 501 Must-See Movies for a VERY reasonable price; only $9! And it's a really, really thick book with pictures and everything, too! I haven't really read it but I flipped through it and I'm happy to know that I know most all the movies in the book. :P At least, if I haven't seen the movie I definitely know about it.

Also, I've decided to take up a new fun hobby... juggling! Ok, I know that might be considered 'odd' but after trying juggling with the 'otedama' my mother gave me, at Borders I got a cheap 'Jugglers Set' and I've decided to try it out.

Stopped by Office Depot and I was able to get a nice monthly/weekly date book. It's hard to find just the right one... there are SOOO many choices!

Went home and found that Naomi had worked on my computer and she was able to start it up! It's fixed right now but just in case it happens again, I spent most of the rest of the afternoon making backups of ALL my files... which was quite a lot of work I must say. :P

For dinner we had salmon, rice, and salad; at the salmon with a new miso sauce Naomi tried making for the first time and it was really, REALLY good! ^_^ The rest of the evening I worked on my juggling (I can pretty much juggle three balls now!), did some more homework, and relaxed at the computer. SOOO happy that my computer is fixed! I wouldn't know what to do withou it! (scary thought...)

Tomorrow's Sunday then in the afternoon we're invited to Bella's birthday party! Sounds like a full day tomorrow! ^_^

School is Done for the Week!!

To my surprise... and much to my happiness, Japanese class was actually pretty fun and interesting! In the beginning we had a short 'quiz' where we had to answer questions about 'who in our opinion was the "best" teacher we ever had, what course/subject did the person teach, and in what way was that teacher "best"'. After that, we divided into nine groups of three and discussed about what we answered. Then each group had to make a poster presentation to show the class. My team had Misato who I've known from last semester (we took ballet together) and another Japanese girl named Junko. ^_^ Oh! which reminds me! There are three Japanese girls in my class whose names are... Eri, Maki, and Naomi. lol! Isn't that funny? I thought it was pretty hilarious...

After class, Naomi picked me up and we went over to Kahala Mall to do some shopping that needed to be done. Ate sushi for lunch (VERY good 'hand rolls') then got home just in time for me to get my Geography Lab books and pick Maki up to campus for our Lab class.

The Lab class was lots of fun; basically doing a lot of 'map' stuff like figuring out the shortest distance between two places by using 'greater circles', figuring out time zones, and latitudes and longitudes. Maki and I are 'lab partners' and since we pretty much know all this stuff, it was easy and we left the class a LOT earlier than everyone else. :P It's funny because we're definitely the 'youngest' among the students but everyone was having a harder time for some reason... ^_^

Walked home and after talking to my parents for a bit (heard that it's snowing in Japan!), I decided to take a short nap which turned into a full one-hour nap. ^_^ Felt sooo good...

Did some homework then Naomi and I went to the Friday night service at Kaimuki Christian Church. Tonight wasn't a real 'service service'; instead there was a choir/hula performance by the high schoolers from Hawaii Baptist Academy. The singing and dancing was pretty good and the whole thing took up the whole service.

Afterwards, 'mingled' on the lanai for a bit then aftewards, a bunch of us went out to eat at Dixie Grill. The group consisted of Naomi and me, Brandon, Christi, Matt, Danny, Ericson, Tina, Tiffany, and Bao. We had such a good time together and we laughed so much throughout the dinner (and before and after...). By the time we 'finally' got up to leave, the place was empty and the waiters were already putting away chairs, mopping the floors, and stuff. :P Just so much fun...

Now I'm home, needing to get ready for bed. Wonder what's I'm going to do tomorrow... it's Saturday! Unfortunately, I think I'm going to work on my history homework though it's a lot more fun than you would usually think of when someone uses the word 'homework'. :P Does that make sense? If it doesn't, that means I really need to go to bed. :P Good night!

How I Love School (So Far)!

Sorry, it's late and I had forgotten completely about my blog so I'm going to make this kinda quick. ^_^

Had my history class this morning where we watched the first half of a documentary film of Andrew Carnegie. Pretty interesting about what kind of life he had and how he grew up, sooning become the 'Richest Man in the World'.

Next was Theater class and I didn't get to do any acting but instead watch others do some short skits. They were all pretty good so I'm now nervous for my turn next week. :P After class, Maki and I went down to the library to meet up with Nichelle. We helped her with her Japanese homework and I must say, her class seems hard! She only just learned hiragana (the whole thing) last week and for a quiz she has to hear a Japanese word then write it out! Very tough...

Went home, had a late lunch, did some computer then Naomi dropped Maki and I off at the campus a little early so she could get to a meeting. I got to read a little bit before our Geography class began. She gave us our first assignment which is due next month then we played a quiz game! The whole class was divided into five teams of five people and we had to answer questions about what we've learned as well as identifying countries on maps. Identifying countries was a bit difficult because she chose very SMALL countries... like Burma... Maki's team got first place and my team was second, off by two points. ^_^

Class finished early which was nice. Maki and I walked home then I did some various homework. Mostly trying to finish up my History 282 homework which is due next Tuesday. Maki made dinner tonight of chicken, maze-gohan, and cabbage soup. Yum!

We had another house meeting after dinner, talking about what are plans are for our church and as a 'family'. Will be interesting what happens in the upcoming weeks!

Worked even more on my homework and I think I've finished up the multiple choice questions are of my take home history quiz. :P Hard stuff... only one question I need to look into more. Then I have a short essay then I have to write a paper on an essay by Andrew Carnegie.

Tomorrow morning is Japanese class... EEP! Wish me luck!

One-Class-Day

Days with only one class are really nice... ^_^ Since I had agreed to help Nichelle with her Japanese homework a bit, I went to school at the same time with Erin and Maki, getting to school around 8:00. Until 8:45 I was able to relax at one of the benches in one of the more 'secluded' areas on campus and read Sense and Sensibility. Was almost done but couldn't quite finish it by the time I went down to the cafeteria to meet Nichelle.

After helping her out a bit (easy stuff), we went to our History class. On the way met a few of our former classmates and got to talk about 'old times'. :P Just kidding, though we did get to chat with them a bit.

Today's History class focused on the different explorers and the rise of Spain and Portugal. Also started getting our reading assignments as well as the study guide for a map quiz which will be coming up in a few weeks.

Walked around a bit with Nichelle after class before she went for her Japanese class. It was nice because we met up with Rachel from last semester and we got to 'talk story' for a while. Rachel is definitely one of the nicest friends I've made while at college; we're meeting up tomorrow between classes so I can give her some 'omiyage' from Japan. ^_^

Said good-bye to Nichelle then went home. Finished reading Sense and Sensibility (hurray!) then went to pick Naomi and Maki up from class. Came home and ate lunch while watching an episode of Hogan's Heroes.

Got started on the book I have to read for History 152 class, The 47 Ronin Story. As you may guess, it's a story of Japan. :P It's a story dramatizing the true events that took place in Japan at the beginning of the 18th century when the Shogun leaders were corrupted and the merchant class began to rise in power. So far, after only reading a chapter or so, I already think I'm going to really enjoy this book.

Around 2:40, Naomi and I went downtown to go meet up with Tiffany to look at her friend's desk at work which Naomi might want to buy. Unfortunately, Tiffany was on the phone with a client so Naomi and I had to wait outside in the car for about 45 minutes! Fortunately, we didn't kill each other (lol!) and had a lot of fun talking and laughing. We finally did get to see the desk though Naomi still hasn't decided whether she wants to buy it or not.

Picked Erin up and got home. I watched Les Girls which I had borrowed from Netflix. It's the last movie Gene Kelly ever played in (last movie however, it's still an 'old' movie :P). It was actually a very interesting story with an interesting twist. It's a bit complicated to explain but basically, we are told about events by two different people at a trial and the stories are completely different. However, a third surprise witness tells the story, adding in some facts that no one had known about and puts a new light on the whole 'event'. Quite interesting, though some parts didn't quite 'click'.

Studied a bit then Erin made delicious spaghetti for dinner. VERY delicious! I watched another short film then got to surf the internet a bit. Tomorrow is another three-class-day; looking forward to Theater class!

Very Fun School Day!

Such a very nice day! ^_^ I just love my classes (so far) and that's a really nice feeling to have. The first class I had was History 282 and turned in my first 'informal' paper. The first thing we did was play the name game; we're all sitting in a semi-circle for this class and one by one, we have to say our own name plus the names of whoever spoke before you. :P Example, first person goes Nikki. Second person goes Chelsea, Nikki. Third person goes Kim, Chelsea Nikki. And so on... For some reason, I was last! So I had to say 20 something names... :P Fortunately I have a very good memory and am good with faces so I didn't have any troubles at all and everyone was pretty impressed I got it all down. lol! Unfortunately for two people, they were a little late for class so had to name everyone without having the advantage of been listening and trying to remember from the very beginning of the game. :P

We finished up on the Reconstrcuction and learned more about the new frontier as well as the Indian wars that took place. I got my first take home quiz as well as another informal paper, both which are due next week. Then for the next two classes we're going to be watching a film on Andrew Carnegie; should prove to be interesting.

Next was theater class. First did the 'breathing' exercises then she talked a little bit about the Who, What, Where, and When of acting (haven't gotten to the Why yet). Then for acting we had to pretend we were at a 4th grade playground during recess. Half the class pretended to be playground objects (swing, basketball hoops, tires, etc.) and the other half were 4th grade students. :P It was pretty hilarious when I was pretending to be one of the tires cut in half in a row to play leapfrog. The others didn't know what my 'group' was doing so though we were chairs... so they sat on us a little... :P

Then, continuing off from last week, our teacher would have us each take turns giving a little introduction of themselves. We didn't have enough time to get through everyone (we actually had gone fifteen minutes over time :P) . I didn't get to talk in front of the class yet (we're going alphabetically by the beginning letter of everyone's last name, 'S' is the bottom of the list...). ^_^

Went home and had a quick lunch and watched Hogan's Heroes then Firefly. Started on my history chapter quiz (pretty tough; thirty HARD multiple choice questions and a short essay) so I think it's good I'm getting a bit of a good start. Maki and I left for our 3:15 Geography class and studied about solar energy, weather, and the atmosphere. Interesting stuff, though most of it we've learned already from high school... :P

Got out of class early so went home, did some studying, then left to pick Erin up from her internship. It was really crowded and everyone was driving crazy; but as you might be able to tell, I got home safe and sound. ^_^

Finished up my Japanese homework just in time for dinner. YUM, Naomi! Delicious yellow curry...

Watched the last Firefly episode halfway then video chatted with my mother. She helped me look over my finished Japanese homework; it's so nice having her help me out! (Hugs and kisses to Mommy)

Got to watch a few more minutes of Firefly before I got a call from Nichelle. Talked with her a bit then we decided to meet before class tomorrow so that I can help her with her Japanese homework. :P Well, I guess I have to get up earlier than I thought I would have to tomorrow but at least I have only one class and I can maybe get a nap in somewhere...

Finally finished my tv episode (:P) and now I'm here at the computer writing up my blog. Going to bed a little early now...

P.S. Here's a funny map which our Geography teacher showed to the class last week to show just how much maps are always 'biased' and expresses a specific point of view. :P Isn't it hilarious? The class wouldn't let the teacher change the slide until we got to look at the whole thing. ^_^ (If it doesn't show up, ask me to send you since blogger.com's been acting funny about this picture for some reason)

"Golden" Day

First off, today was a holiday and I didn't take one step out of the house. :P Not that I was lazy today, not at all!! Ok, maybe a little bit. lol!

Slept in a little then got to work on my Theater homework. I had to read one chapter from the book then I had to choose one little 'scene'. I made a 'score' of that scene (something like a script but only describes action instead of lines) which was actually very interesting and lots of fun.

For lunch I had leftovers then watched Relative Values with Maki and Erin. Such a fun movie which I hadn't seen in such a long time! Colin Firth is simply a riot as the nephew to Julie Andres and gets so much good lines ("Here's looking at YOU kid..."). I think I might want to try to read the play; now that's one play I'd like to act in, perhaps as the American actress who overdoes everything. lol!

Got to video chat with my parents; my mother had been nice enough to look over my Japanese paper and helped me out on my grammar and such. Thank you so much! I feel better after having her read it over and telling me that I didn't do too bad. :P

The rest of the afternoon was spent starting on my other Japanese paper which is due this Friday and finishing up my History paper due tomorrow. :S Both won't be graded, but there's still that pressure to do well...

Today was Monday so it was my turn to make dinner... and I made a delicious mushroom and spinach pizza! Ok, ok, I didn't really make the pizza, but I did heat it up! And it was baked to perfection!

Then from 7:00 till 10:00, we watched the 63rd Golden Globe Award Ceremony. ^_^ I was actually the only one to sit through the whole thing since the others left towards the end. I must say, I enjoyed it quite a bit though I think I would have enjoyed it more if there hadn't been any commercials! In that sense, I prefer the Academy Award show anyway since it's more 'glitzier'... but still, the Golden Glob Show was fun.

Sooo many stars, I don't know where to begin! Matthew McCounaughy, Colin Firth, Don Johnson, Harrison Ford, Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Broderick, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hatheway, Chris Rock, Emmy Rossum, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale, Clint Eastwood, Johnny Depp, Joaquin Phoenix, John Travolta, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightely... AHHHH the list goes on and on and on!! Four of my 'wishes' came true with Walk the Line winning Best Actress (Reese Witherspoon), Best Actor (Joaquin Phoenix), and Best Picture and (AHHHH!) Hugh Laurie getting Best Actor for in a Television Series. He TOTALLY deserved it and he gave the funniest acceptance speech of ALL the award recipients. I was completely cracking up from the beginning of his speech to the end. What's funny is that his accent is very much a mix of both British and American accents. :P

Took a quick shower and now it's a little after 10:30. *sigh* Tomorrow it's back to school again. :P I have History, Theater, and Geography and I'm actually looking forward to all three classes so that's not too bad. G'night y'all!

Queasy Stomache...

This morning was 'interesting' I must say... I had a terrible stomache ache all night and didn't sleep very well. :S Finally dragged myself out of bed around 9:30 but couldn't eat anything. Felt pretty awful I must say...

However, by 10:00 when I church service began I was starting to feel better so that was nice. Naomi led service today then afterwards we had a 'house' meeting to talk about who does what chores and such.

Today's third Sunday so we went out to eat at Happy Day's Chinese restaurant for lunch. I was feeling a lot better and was getting pretty hungry by then since I hadn't eaten breakfast. :P *sigh* The food there is sooooo good. Yum yum!

Got home and watched a few episodes of Firefly with Naomi; got to lie down on her bed for a while. After that, I decided to work on my Japanese homework. I finally got two-thirds done by late afternoon which I'm really happy about. It wasn't 'too' bad; just time consuming since it takes about double the time it is for me to write in Japanese instead of English.

Naomi was out for the evening so Erin, Maki, and I ate leftovers from last night's dinner at Joe and Mercy's house. We watched How to Steal a Million which I gave to Erin for Christmas. ^_^ Such a great movie and Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole are great together! Eli Wallach is also hilarious and always fun to watch. There are so many witty lines throughout the whole movie. Favorites are (Audrey Hepburn is Nicole, Peter O'Toole is Simon):

Nicole: For a burglar you're not very brave, are you?
Simon: I'm a society burglar. I don't expect people to rush about shooting me!

Nicole: I didn't want to keep you waiting, so I got engaged to him. Is it alright? Am I on time?
Simon: Perfectly. In fact, we have ten more minutes, so if you want to go back and marry him...

Such a fun, romance, caper movie which I highly recommend!

Did some more 'tweaking' on my Japanese paper and did some internet surfing. Tomorrow is the Golden Globe Award Ceremony! I don't care at all for most of the movies/actors/actresses nominated though I hope that:
1) Peter Jackons gets Best Director for King Kong
2) Reese Witherspoon gets Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for Walk the Line
3) Either Walk the Line or Pride and Prejudice wins Best Musical or Comedy
4) Joaquin Phoenix gets Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for Walk the Line
5) Hugh Laurie gets Best Actor in a Television Drama Series for House, M.D.
6) Chronicles of Narnia gets Best Original Song for "Wunderkind" sung by Alanis Morissette
7) King Kong gets Best Original Score

I have a feeling that there's going to be quite a few surprises though... :P

G'night! So happy that tomorrow's a holiday so I won't have to go to school. ^_^ Isn't that nice?

Fun Day!

It was so nice being able to sleep in today. :P Unlike last semester where I could basically sleep in until amost 9:30, Monday through Friday I have to be up by 8:15 or so. :P So Saturdays are nice to sleep in as late as I want... ^_^ That is, until the next door neighbor's dog starts doing his 'annoying, reptitive bark'. *rolls eyes* Sooooo annoying...

Erin, Maki and I went to Dole Theaters to catch a movie and got home around 2:40 or so. Worked some more on my homework (just needs a few finishing touches) and decided not to get started on my Japanese homework... I'll probably start on Monday (which is a holiday). Hurray! I also got to catch up on a little reading (still reading Sense and Sensibility). I'm just a little over halfway done now.

At 5:30, the four of us left the house to go to Joe and Mercy's house to celebrate Kyla and a neighbors birthday. Besides the Littlefield family, Nick, Heather, Malia, and Bella also came as well as the neighbor's family and Joe's friend. Joe and his family live at the top of this really, really, REALLY steep hill (we didn't even try driving up for fear our car wouldn't make it :P). Here's pictures of the view and how steep it looks from just 2/3 up to the house.

Had a really great time and the dinner was great! Fried chicken, rice, spring rolls, salad, yakisoba, hamburgers, and mashed potatoes. You can tell how 'Hawaiian' it is with the assorted types of foods. ^_^ The four kids, Kyla, Nika, Malia, and Bella, kept everything very lively with their funny antics. Christi and Brandon stopped by (they live downstairs in Joe's house) before the two of them were going out to dinner. Here's a very nice picture of them 'dressed up'.

When it was time to open the gifts, though it was Kyla's birthday (she's two years old now), Nika was very helpful and was the one mostly opening the presents. lol! It was funny when Joe was asking whose gifts they were and Nika replied that they were all hers. :P Malia and Bella also joined in the gift opening so it was highly entertaining watching them share-oh-so-nicely (do you detect the slight sarcasm there?). ^_^ Just kidding, they were pretty good at sharing. Bella got to 'have' one of the gift decorations... look how sad she looks wearing it... lol!

It was then time to get the cake out. It was hilarious because Kyla kept blowing out the candles at the wrong time so Mercy had to keep relighting the candles! lol! The cakes were good, the neighbor's one a chocolate ice-cream cake and Kyla's having assorted candies on it.

After a little while, everyone left so it was only the 'Yokohama girls' left at the house. I gave my presents to Kyla and Nikka then and they absolutely loved them! The gifts were Japanese plastic fans which light up in the dark in different colors! For about an hour we all had a great time watching the two girls play and Joe joining in a little later. I haven't laughed so hard, so long for quite a while and I think I have a little stomache-ache from laughing so much!

Back home now, doing last minute things before going to bed. I got to video chat with my parents with was fun; the dogs were so cute and doing silly stuff. Sooo cute! Sophie kept pawing Daddy to make room for her on his lap. Soooo demanding... *wink!* As for Bianca, she just keeps going on and off the camera, coming and going, getting her toy, having my parents throw it for her, etc. Busy puppy.

Good night, sleep tight!

Stressful Morning, Relaxing Afternoon, Fun Evening ^_^

I had a Japanese 298 class from 9:00 so I got up a little early so I could make it in time for class. Unfortunately, Linda Fujikawa who was supposed to be teaching the class won't be teaching this semester because of a family tragedy. So though Linda had been assuring me that the class wouldn't be too stressful what with my taking six classes, including one which was a Writing Intensive course, the teacher I have this semester teaches differently. As in instead of having the choice of writing our papers and assignments in either English or Japanese, we have to write in Japanese. :S As you all probably know, I am not good at writing in Japanese at all... please be praying that I'll be able to do well in this class and at least pass. I'll be needing this class to get back credits for my language courses if I want to transfer to UH to get a bachelor's degree. One nice thing about the class is that I already know one Japanese girl (we took ballet together last semester) and all the other students (most all Japanese girls) seem very nice and friendly.

Getting home though I was still very, VERY stressed about it all (after listening to all the 'requirements' for 2 hours and 45 minutes) that I completely 'crashed' when I got home. Thank you to my parents, Naomi, Erin, and Maki for putting up with me... :P

I had Geography Lab from 1:45 (another 2 hour and 45 minute class) but nicely enough, our teacher just gave the information for less than 15 minutes. ^_^ So Maki and I got to go home very quickly! Geography Lab is going to be pretty easy I think; we only have to show up to class and do the experiments and stuff. No tests, quizzes, papers, essay, exams, assignments, homework... nothing! ^_^ No wonder it's worth only one credit.

Anyway, it was nice being able to get home quickly and have a nice relaxing afternoon. I started on my history paper and did some writing though I seem to be going nowhere on my newest chapter. :S I'd better finish it quickly so I can upload it, lest my fans starting spamming me. :P

Since Naomi was at a meeting, Tina picked Erin, Maki, and I up to go to the Friday night service. It was nice seeing all the familiar faces again though there were some people not there (like Ericson). I'll have to try to get a picture of the omiyage I got for him from Japan... so funny! ^_^

After the service spent a while out on the lanai just talking and fellowshipping. I spent the time mostly carrying Bella around and playing with Malia, Nika, and Kyla though... :P They're all so cute and I love the way the say my name. lol!

Tina, Tiffany, Yoko, Naomi, Erin, Maki and I went to eat at a new ramen shop; I got the pirikara ramen with fried oysters... YUM! It was pretty good, though I think the other ramen shop I've gone to was better.

Will 'see you' tomorrow; good night!

My First Real Autograph! And From None Other Than...!

This morning I had been planning to walk to school since Naomi was using the car, but much to my great luck, Nichelle called just as I was leaving the house and told me that she was on the way to school and could pick me up! Oh, I have such a great friend... ^_^ So we went to campus together and since there was about forty minutes until our classes started (we had classes in the same building though I was having History and she was having speech), we were able to talk and have some fun. Quite by accident, Maki was just in front of the cafeteria as we were walking past so we were able to talk together for a little while.

From 9:15 to 10:30 I had my History 282 class. We began with all of us having to say our names and say what our favorite foods were. :P It seems that Mr. Cassity also sometimes plays the 'name game'... Eep! How am I supposed to remember 26 names?! I'll have to pay extra attention to try to get everyone's names... Talked about the Reconstruction period after the Civil War which though I knew a lot of the material we covered, there were some interesting facts I learned. I have homework due for next week where I have to write a 1-2 page paper about myself and about politics in America. It's one of the seven informal papers for the class where though Mr. Cassity checks and marks the paper, it's not graded at all. ^_^ So that's nice so there's no real 'pressure' to make an 'exceptional' paper. lol!

Right after class, I went to Theatre 221 class next. And boy, I must say, that was a FUN class! First off, we started off with a few exercises and the teacher talked gave a little tour around the building, into the dressing rooms and the prop rooms. Pretty cool I must say. Then we did some acting... ^_^ She made us all imagine that we were at a high school basketball game between the juniors and seniors. She picked out some people to be on opposing teams, one referee, then the rest of the students were spectators. And it was really, REALLY fun! Everyone was soooo into the moment and feel of the 'scene' and I could tell that everyone was immersed into what we were doing. After a little while, Mrs. Perez next told us to continue with the scene, except in slow motion. :P That was really funny, seeing the 'players' move in slow motion, and us spectators yelling insults and encouragement very slowly. Next Mrs. Perez took away the basketball and had us continue in slow motion without the ball.

She changed parts after a while and I got to be one of the players on the junior team. The 'referee' played a really MEAN and unfair referee and you won't believe just how immersed everyone got! The 'referee' picked on my team (junior team) and even kicked two of my team members out so that it was 5 to 3! It got even 'funnier' when she suspended the whole team... lol! I must say, it was TONS of fun and if the classes continue to be like this, Theatre 221 will definitely be one of my favorite classes.

Naomi picked Maki and I up and ate lunch at home. Relaxed in the early afternoon and chatted with my dad... and guess what?! He went to an Alan Parsons' concert last night! The first part the AP band played backup for Denny Laine who was formerly with Paul McCartney's band Wings. Then afterwards Alan Parsons himself came out and he and the band played some pretty awesome music. Grrr! I so wish I could be there!

Ok, but here's the REALLY cool part... my father asked around if he could somehow meet Alan Parsons but everyone told him that it would be difficult. Then Daddy asked if he could get an autograph so the owner came out and asked if my father had brought something that Alan Parsons could sign. As it would so happen (:P), my father had brought A Valid Path cd and an old Pink Floyd cd which Alan Parsons had worked on before starting the APProjects. My dad sent the cds along with his namecard with a message written on the back. After the concert, the owner brought back the cds... and while the Pink Floyd album had "To Randy, Alan Parsons" on it, the A Valid Path cd had "To Priscilla, Best, Alan Parsons 2006"!! A personalized Alan Parsons autograph to me!!!! AHHHHH! Ok, fangirl moment, I know (I think I've screamed/yelled at least a couple of times today). lol! But it's really amazing being able to get an autograph from Alan Parsons; I've looked all over but it's hard to get in touch with him at all. So it's quite an honor to have him autograph something for me.

John Montagna, the bass player for APLive (really, REALLY good bass player and singer), has his own blog site up so my dad's written him and I'm thinking of writing to him, to perhaps ask him if he could send along my thanks to Alan Parsons. ^_^ We'll see how it goes!

Maki and I left for our Geography class a little before 3:00. It was a pretty interesting class though Ms. Mclees isn't an 'exceptional' teacher compared to like Mr. Cassity or Mrs. Perez. She needs more practice. :P Class finished twenty minutes early so Maki and I went by Long's Drugstore so I could get a notebook for class.

Went home and the two of washed the car which was in much need of a 'bath'. :P I worked on putting all my pictures up on my blog and putting last semester's papers, tests, quizzes, etc. neatly away. For dinner, Naomi made chicken cream stew. ^_^

Chatted with my parents a little then watched an episode of Firefly with Naomi. I'm really, REALLY liking Simon Tam (Sean Maher) now. Such an 'interesting' character. Such a 'smart, dumb person' as Will Smith from I, Robot would say. ^_^

Off to bed now. Friday is a long day considering I have two class which are both 2 hours and 45 minutes long. :S Not looking forward to them... *groan* Good night!
