Another Week of School Over
Today's History class was sooooooo much fun! I loooooove history, especially Roman history and we started from the 3rd Punic War and covered a lot of Pax Romana, I think up to Emperor Nero. I'm most definitely going to try to get into Cassity's 152 class next semester which I think would be lots of fun.
Went home and had lunch while watching an episode of Hogan's Heroes. Went to ASL class next; today we went over describing family members again. We split up into three groups with about five or six people in each group. We had brought pictures of our family and we had to explain each member, telling their names and such. My group was laughing when I said I have two dogs named 'Sophia Loren Stafford' and 'Bianca Audrey Stafford'. Movie star names... ^_^
Got home and after cleaning my room a bit, watched Dear Frankie. Excellent movie, though not a kids movie because they would be totally bored. It's a serious drama and because it's an independent film, it's fairly slow and 'plodding'. I liked Gerard Butler in it though; played a very nice character.
Since I wasn't hungry at all, I didn't eat dinner but went straight to church for the worship practice at 6:15. Neither Joe nor John were at the practice today so I had to kind of figure out how to play the songs by myself. :P I think I did pretty good, though I seriously think I need to practice more, not just for wroship practice but on my own.
Went home and had a small dinner and watched a few episodes of Hogan's Heroes with the other 'three girls'. ^_^ Like I said, we're all such big fans of the show now.
Off to bed now; it was nice though because I got to see Masa, Mayumi and Miriria on video chat when they stopped by my house back in Japan! Also, before I go off to bed, just want to mention that tomorrow is when Naomi's leaving for the mainland. Wishing her a safe and fun trip!
