Sunday and Another Birthday!

Before having our church service, Maki and I gave the car a quick wash. We've been meaning to wash the car for so long and this morning I was like, "Gotta do it!" So we did, and now it looks very clean. ^_^

Naomi led the service today and preached about The Law of Christ. It was a very good talk and it really spoke (at least it did to me :P). Afterwards we went to Kaimuki church for the 10:30 service. I played drums for that service and it was lots of fun and nice to be able to worship God in that way. It was nice because Heather's mother and grandmother were visiting; it was really cute to see all four generations sitting together (Bella was on her mother's lap towards the end, and being very nice and quiet ^_^).

After the service, some of the church people were making fried rice and scrambled eggs as well as serving all kinds of cereals. So had a nice, light lunch there and got to fellowship with several people, including the Japanese girl, Kaori, who I think I mentioned had recently become a Christian. She's coming Sundays now, too.

Went home and I was pretty exhausted (for one thing, still felt all 'tight' from the muscle pain from yesterday :P). Took a very nice two hour nap then did some more writing for my newest Lotr chapter.

Tonight we went to Ward Shopping area to celebrate Tiffany's birthday at a restaurant called Kincaids. It's a slightly 'upper class-ish' type of place and the food was simply delicious! I ordered the garlic prawns which words cannot describe to how good it was...

We also all shared bread appetizers with assorted dips and cheeses. I think my favorite was the crab/artichoke dip. A little buttery but overall a very good dip.

Doesn't Erin and Yoko look so alike? I think they could seriously pass off as cousins or something. They were laughing so hard when I mentioned that. But it's true, don't you think? ^_^

<--- Happy Birthday Tiff!

Went home fairly early and got to chat with friends and family. ^_^ Going to bed now as it is getting late... another week of school! And midterms!! :P
