Today's... I Mean, Yesterday's Blog

This morning Erin led our church service , preaching on Faith and Works. Afterwards, Naomi, Maki and I went to Kaimuki Christian Church for the 10:30 service. Went home to pick Erin up then drove over to Ala Moana Mall to meet up Aunt Jean. Today was her birthday so we celebrated lunch together to eat at Jackie Chan's. It was my first time to eat there but I must say, EVERYTHING was delicious! I especially loved this crab, wanton-chip dip. Just soooooooo good! For dessert we all shared two mango creme brulees (spelling?) which was just so yummy. Overall it was a delicious and fun lunch and a great way to celebrate Aunt Jean's birthday.

By the time we got home, it was already 3:30 or so. First thing Naomi and I did was get my parents on the computer so we could have a video/audio conference. Today (well, 'tomorrow' in Japan) was my father's birthday so he waited opening his presents until Naomi and I were onlne. So happy because Daddy liked all the gifts we sent him for his birthday. ^_^

I rested just a few minutes then we all left to make it in time to get to Shokudo, a Japanese restaurant near Ala Moana because... tonight we went there to celebrate Don's birthday! Whoah, so many birthdays to celebrate today. :P Besides us four girls and Don, Christi, Brandon, Tina, Tiffany, and Yoko. We all ordered all kinds of different foods and shared altogether. I liked the sushi rolls that you could make yourself. Mmmm! Not exactly Japanese food (okonomiyaki with ketchup?!) but it was close enough.

Almost everyone had a camera so it was hilarious because we all started taking soooo many pictures, mostly silly pictures. :P I chose the best ones to put up on my blog. Oh, it was also hilarious when the waiters/waitresses came to sing 'Happy Birthday', especially since Brandon whisphered to the head waitress that Don's 'name' was 'Rodrigo'. lol! It was soooo funny when they sang, 'Happy Birthday dear Rodrigooooooooo!' ^_^

Since we had eaten out early for dinner, came home before 8:00 though it felt much later. :P Ericson had been kind enough to lend me House, M.D. Season One so I watched a couple of the first episodes. Chatted with some people and because blogger.com wasn't working, I didn't write the blog until the next day. :P So skip over to 'today's blog to catch up on 'Priscilla's Daily Events'. ^_^
