Last night I went to bed really late so waking up was a little bit more difficult than usual. :P It also didn't help that the next door neighbor's dog was barking like crazy early in the morning so that I had a slight headache when I got out of bed. Grrr...

Erin dropped me off at the Diamond Head Theatre for my musical theater tap class. It was lots of fun and we leared quite a few more steps. Each class gets more challenging as more steps are incorporated into the dance; and I love challenging dances. ^_^ It's a little embarrassing since my teacher keeps telling everyone to 'watch Priscilla; see how she does the steps!' lol!

Since Erin had dropped me off so she could take the car for an inspection, I walked home while listening to my i-Pod. ^_^ I-Pods are so much fun and nice to have when you have to walk distances. Walking was a bit hard today though because I had done tap dancing earlier and my legs were pretty stiff by the time I got home. Took a looooooong shower. :P

Relaxed a bit then around 1:30, Ericson came by to pick Maki and I up to go to Ward Theatres together. Watched Serenity and I must say, it was a pretty excellent movie; but I must say I was disappointed to a certain degree because it was so dark towards the end. One of the main characters dies a very abrupt death which made me depressed since that character was my favorite!! Grr... whose stupid idea was to kill he/she off?! The wit and one-liners were abundant though a lot of the jokes were mostly satirical.

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Do you want to be Captain?
Jayne Cobb: Yeah, I do.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Oh... Well, you can't!
Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: Can we start with the part where Jayne gets knocked out by a 90 pound girl? Because that's *never* getting old.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: While I'm gone, Zoe is in command. Now, if I'm not back in an hour, I want you to take this ship, take off... and you come and you rescue me!
Zoë Warren: What? And risk my new ship?

*Sigh* HOWEVER well-done the movie is, I must stress that I really can only recommend this movie to older teens (I do mean older) and adults if I recommend it at all. Violence was pretty extreme and due to the storyline and main topic of the story, I strongly say that this is NOT a kids/teen movie. Seriously, I was shaking my head at the stupidity of some of the parents bringing their kids. I saw a lot of them take the kids out and some of them were crying (the kids, not the parents). :P Some parts of the movie are kind of disturbing... this isn't really a teen flick at all either.

Tomorrow's Sunday and also Aunt Jean's birthday! We're going to celebrate by going out to lunch together... to Verbanos! Yay, Italian food!

Ooo, you watched Serenity! Well, that's too bad that it was a trite dark, but ah well, typical of movies nowadays.
