Caught Up With Today's Blog!

Because the car had to be taken 'to the shop' today, after Maki and Erin got home from their ASL class, Erin dropped Maki and I off to campus. It was still almost an hour before our class started so we just sat at a picnic table in a nice shady area just outside our English building. Started reading Michael Crichton's The Great Train Robbery; I think I need to watch the movie again. :P Sean Connery and Donald Sutherland...

A couple of classmates also came a bit early so we shared a table together until time for class. Today's English class was... interesting. The beginning was just Mrs. G explaining about our final essay for the class which looks pretty tough. Lots of research to be done at the library and I do not like research much.

The rest of the time was mostly spent discussing two essays we had read for homework. I won't tell what it was about, but certainly the guys and girls were clearly on opposite sides of the argument. lol! After class there was some friendly 'teasing' between the guys and the girls though I'm actually more on the 'middle ground'.

Nichelle, Maki and I went over to Subway for lunch; got a roast beef sandwhich and New York clam chowder. The soup was really good, I'm going to have to get their soups from now on. ^_^ Especially since because I get student prices for the student meal, the prices are pretty reasonable.

After Nichelle left for her Japanese class, Maki and I shopped a bit at the KCC bookstore. Though I finally didn't get anything (though I might get a KCC t-shirt sometime), Maki got some art supplies for her class.

Math class was fairly easy. Like I mentioned before, calculators make life (well, at least math) much easier. Naomi gave me her scientific calculator and it's so nice to use. I thought I wouldn't enjoy the business math so much but so far it's still easy so it's actually fun!

Ballet class was fun and tiring as usual. Next week is our midterm so we're going over the barre and center exercises that will be included in the exam. Oh, and guess what? After the midterm, we actually are going to start learning pirouettes! Soooo cool! I've already tried doing it so I think I can learn pretty quickly.

Naomi picked me up (the car is fine now, the wheel alignment had been 'off' as well as a few other things) and as soon as I got home, I took a shower and did my math homework. Tonight, Maki and I made dinner of 'maboudoufu'. Soooooo GOOD! It's nice eating at home again. :P

Took Naomi to her hula practice at the church then picked Erin up from her class (I am made to do a lot more driving now that I have my license. :P lol!). Just kidding, I love driving so it's fun for me to drive around (as long as I know where I'm going. ^_^

Watched the new episode of Just Legal then picked Naomi up from her hula practice. Here I am now, writing my blog and it's still 'fairly' early. :P I think I will watch an episode of House, M.D. before heading off to bed. Good night! And sorry again for not having been able to write yesterday's blog 'yesterday'. Make sure to read, LOTS happened yesterday and I put up a lot of pictures.
