Today we had our service with just the three of us; Erin, Maki and I. It's a bit 'odd' without Naomi. :P Erin led the service today and preached on Our Relationship With God; how we have to seek a truly personal relationship with God, not just the type of relationship with the church.
Went to the 10:30 service and was able to see and talk to quite a few people. After the service, we ate out with Kaori and Ericson at a Chinese restaurant at Kahala. I got the lunch buffet and ate sooooo much! The food is really, really good though the 'hot and sour soup' wasn't too 'hot'. :P It was still good though and we had great fellowship together.
After dropping off Kaori at her homestay place (she's staying at one of the Kaimuki church family's house) then went home to basically just really, REALLY relax for the rest of the afternoon. At first I was doing some writing then Maki and I watched a couple of Hogan's Heroes episodes. Such a great show!
Kind of dozed off later on then had a chance to chat with my parents then later on talked with Naomi on the phone. She was at the Seattle airport at the time, waiting to board her flight for Ohio. She sounded a little tired but from all that she said I think she's already having a great time over there. ^_^ I hope she has a nice flight and gets to her next destination safely!
We had dinner fairly late, around 8:00 since I was on the phone with Naomi then Erin talked to her for a bit, too. Erin made dinner which was very good; nice to eat home. We watched The Trouble With Harry while eating. It's been a while since I've seen it so it was especially fun to watch if after such a long time. I love the banter which is very witty and sooo dry. Now I'm going to finish up my blog then perhaps do some more creative writing before heading off to bed. The 11th week of school is about to begin!
