"The Role of the Government During the Gilded and Progressive Ages..." yadda yadda yadda... :P
Woke up the usual time, got ready faster than usual, and walked to class. Today was an especially hot day though my classroom was SOOOO COLD! I won't be surprised if I have cold from the extreme temperature differences I had to endure in class. :P Today was a considerably 'intense' class compared to most times; Mr. Cassity was completely focused on finishing up the French Revolution and Napoleon Bonaparte's story. Well, we are having the midterm on Monday and those topics will be included on the test. :P So it was good we were able to get through it all. Mr. Cassity's lectures are sooo fun. He's a really good storyteller and makes learning and remembering everything easy (at least for me). ^_^
Went home and started working a bit on my midterm paper due tomorrow. I've written six pages for the rough draft but Mr. Cassity gave me sooo many ideas to make the paper better so I know it's going to go way over six pages...
Picked up Naomi at noon and brought back some sushi for lunch. Soon afterwards, the two of us went to Ala Moana shopping mall because Naomi wanted to get me my birthday present. ^_^ Went straight to Old Navy where she got me some clothes I really, really liked. Not going to tell you what until tomorrow when I get to 'officially' get them. lol! I'll make sure to take pictures.
Stopped by Kahala Mall so I could get a dvd at Tower Records then went home. The rest of the day was spent working on my paper. I think I know too much about the Gilded and Progressive Ages now; more than needs to be known. :P lol!
Naomi made dinner (omuraisu and leftovers) then we watched American Idol. The guys are REALLY good! I'm definitely thinking that a guy is going to be the next idol. It's just... who?! There are three definite favorites for me and it's hard choosing who to vote for. :P
And now I've finally finished the paper! Nine pages total! Pretty good, huh? At least I have assurance from Mr. Cassity that it's ok if it's long; as long as it's no less than six. :P I really hope I get a good score for it.
Off to bed now... tomorrow's my birthday! Can you believe it? I'm going to be 19... ^_^
