~It's a jungle out there~ (from theme song of Monk)
Woke up early this morning to drive Naomi to her meeting then went home to stay awake in a 'hazy daze' until time for my 9:00 class. Today's Japanese class was lots of fun; all the groups had to practice giving their presentations today. My group's presentation of The Samurai: Japanese Warrior Class went very, very well and we got compliments from our teacher on how well prepared we were. ^_^
Because everyone's presentations went by fairly quickly, we all got out about an hour early. Yay! Went home then Naomi, Maki, and I went to Kahala Mall to do some shopping. Stopped by Barnes and Noble and Tower Records. I was able to get myself the play The Miracle Worker; I might be doing my final scene in theater class from that play. I'm excited to play Anne Bancroft's Anne Sullivan, Helen Keller's teacher.
Picked up some Panda Express for lunch and we all went home. Maki and I then went to our Geography Lab class. Was a fairly quick class since it was pretty easy. Our 'lab group' has gotten bigger for some reason as some more people has joined our group. :P After class, my teacher wrote me up a letter of recommendation for my joining the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. It was a really nice letter and I'm so honored that she wrote it for me. ^_^
Went home and watched Walk the Line with Naomi. Such a good movie and watching it makes me reaffirm just why I'm so happy that Reese Witherspoon got Best Actress for it. She really deserved it.
Had a light dinner and watched some tv including the season finale of Monk. VERY good episode; Maki and I were laughing so much during it. lol! Afterwards I was able to finish reading up my African story. *sigh* So glad that's done. Now I just have to write a paper on it... *groan!*
Well, I'm off to bed. I get to sleep in tomorrow! How exciting! Definitely planning on doing nothing... well, not really true because I think I'm going to write up a 'score' for my upcoming monologue next week and start reading my textbook for American History. G'night!
