"Don't call me Bones."

This morning I had History class; we began learning about the Industrial Revolution, in Mr. Cassity's opinion second only to the Neolithic Revolution in how much man's lives were affected. After class I was able to ask Mr. Cassity to write a letter of recommendation for me to give to the Phi Theta Kappa Society. I'm very excited and pleased that he's going to be writing a letter of recommendation for me since I respect him very much as a teacher. ^_^

Hung out with Nichelle for a bit, going to Subway and getting some cookies. YUM! The Subway cookies are simply delicious; I especially like their peanut butter cookies and their double chocolate chip cookies. ^_^ Three cookies for only $1.34 is a good price...

Stayed at the International Cafe from 11:00 to 12:00 for a presentation on how to protect yourself from Identity Theft. Learned some very interesting facts, like how almost $3 billion was 'lost' last year through identity thefts.

Stopped by the Phi Theta Kappa office to drop off my application form then went home with Maki and Naomi whose classes had finished around that time. Went home and made myself ramen for lunch. Did some reading of my African novel for which a paper is due next week. *sigh* Not looking forward to having to have to write about the book. *groan* Also worked on my two-page Japanese reflection paper on the Honolulu Festival I went to last week. Fairly easy though a bother... :P lol

Erin made a delicious dinner of chicken katsu... though I think it was so good that I might have eaten too much. :P After dinner I watched an episode of Bones. I've always been meaning to watch an episode but never got around to it. I actually liked it quite a bit and might try to catch a few more episodes. Kind of reminds me of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye though a bit more... interesting I think since it deals with forensic science, too, and not just the FBI. Watched a thirty minute show of American Idol where Stevie Wonder made a guest appearance! He also sang a song from his new album which was really cool.

Got to chat with my parents tonight which was very, very funny. ^_^ I know I always say it, but I love video chatting with them and getting to laugh soooo much as a family.

I'm off to bed and a night of sweet dreams!
