Kahala Mall Third Day in a Row
I promised to put up pictures from Naomi's surprise birthday party last night... and here they all are! ^_^ Doesn't my Oreo Cookie look delicious? :P
Anyway, on to "about today." This morning I woke up a bit early because there was a HUGE rainstorm! Lots of thunder, crazy rain,

and everything! And the pressure all around was all wacky so my nose kept getting stuffy
and unstuffy. Very annoying... I was still able to sleep in until around 9:00.
After breakfast we had our Sunday service, today led by Naomi. She talked about God's grace and how we must use the name of Jesus Christ in our daily lives. Today was 'Third Sunday' so we had our church communion. ^_^ So nice to be able to have our

own communion services in our church.
For lunch we went to Kahala Mall to eat at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK). Even though it was still raining really badly (there was a flow of water in the streets and some really HUGE puddles all over) it was still pretty crowded. Lunch was very good including my favorite; spinach and artichoke dip.

MmmMMmmmmMMMm!!! ^_^
Shopped a bit in Macy's and Long's Drugstore then went home. Mostly did some 'clothes cleaup' and finished writing up my score for the upcoming monologue I'm doing this coming Tuesday. Also chatted with many different people, catching up on all the news back home in Japan. lol!

Had a light dinner after such a big lunch and watched
Unbreakable with Naomi. It's M. Night Shyamalan's second film after making
The Sixth Sense. Though not as good as
The Sixth Sense (NOTHING beats that movie in having the best surprise ending), I thought
Unbreakable to be quite interesting. A bit slow in my opinion, could have been more 'thrilling', but I enjoyed it. Bruce Willis was superb as well as the young actor who plays his son; was a bit disappointed with Samuel L. Jackson. His character
could have been portrayed better I think. It had a nice twist in the ending which caught me by surprise though after thinking about it, I kind of saw it coming. And let me tell you, I thought about the movie quite a bit after watching it since it's one of
those movies which makes you think aftewards. :P Better than
Signs for the ending, but
The Sixth Sense is still Shyamalan's best. Gotta see
The Village though to make a final decision. ^_^
Now I'm ready for bed. I have only one class in the morning, but I'll be donating blood in the early afternoon. :S Please be praying for me that I won't get all stressed out over it. (must remember to breathe). lol! Good night y'all!
