Another Great Day (Except I Wish It Would Just STOP Raining!!)

Another day of relaxation. ^_^ Slept in late then after having a late breakfast, Maki and I walked down to Benjamin Franklin, a fairly big craft store. It was raining a bit but not too bad, hence the reason why I wanted to walk and get some exercise. I didn't buy much except for a small keychain kit. Walked back home then I had to drive to the bank to do some 'bank things.' :P

Had a late lunch and watched a movie I borrowed recently called Better Off Dead. An interesting mid-80's movie starring a very, VERY young John Cusack. A 'strange' movie but pretty hysterical. :P There were some really funny, witty lines which had me cracking up. It 'exaggerates' lots of the usual 'teen' troubles of the 80's (and some even now).

Did some reading then went to pick Erin up. Her internship finished early so she was at Ala Moana Shopping Center. However, going to pick her up turned into quite a fiasco as the roads were crazy crowded, roads were blocked up, and it was nigh impossible to get to the Mall. :P We were finally able to make it there which was nice, whole trip took a little over an hour. :P Oh, well, a fun drive. lol!

I made dinner tonight (omuraisu) and Tina came over to have dinner with us on a sudden invitation. Was nice to have her over for dinner. ^_^ Watched American Idol and I must say, tonight's performances were pretty unimpressive. Mostly because of very bad song choices. Tonight was 21st Century Night meaning the contestants had to pick a song to sing between 2000 and 2006. However, bad song choices all around. :S Even Chris (one of my favorites) choice a kind of 'noisy, rock' song that just didn't show off his vocal range. Taylor's song was a bit quiet and Mandisa was a bit 'off' sorry to say. Fortunately, the the whole night saved by Elliot doing the last performance. He has SUCH a good vocal range and put it to great use (that's him on the bottom right in the group picture and on the left).

Watched House, M.D. afterwards then chatted with some people on the computer. Also did some more writing. AH, I have to finish this chapter! Taking waaaayy too long. :P

Tomorrow the three of us are planning to go shopping at Waikele. Fun fun fun! G'night, sleep tight!
