No School Today!!!

Today was definitely a nice, NICE lazy day. ^_^ Woke up late and basically didn't do much in the morning. lol! For lunch I made myself fried rice and watched... After the Thin Man! As you may guess, it's the sequel to The Thin Man. I've been meaning to watch the rest of the series but never got around to it. But I finally borrowed it through Netflix so... yay!

It was really good, better than I thought though it still wouldn't measure up to the first movie. Oh, and I was surprised to see that Jimmy Stewart was in it! Overall, it kept the essence of the first movie including a very, VERY surprising ending. It wasn't something easy to see coming, came as a surprise. We all had NO idea who the murderer was. Well, I actually did have my suspicions but still, it was definitely a surprise. It once again ended with Nick and Nora getting on a sleeper train with something unexpected being announced that the great Nick, though a detective, hadn't seen coming! Very cute... ^_^

Did some computer, writing my fanfiction, for a little while before leaving with Naomi to drop her off downtown. But BOY was it CROWDED today! We left around 3:30 and with just a quick stop to the printers to pick up some stuff, it was not until 4:45 that we got even close to where Naomi needed to be! So I actually had to drop her off a few blocks away and she walked the last bit. :P Drove back and got home a little before 5:30. Long time in the car. :P

Erin and Maki went out to see a play, Cats, so it was just me, all by myself, the house all to myself, from 6:00 to around 10:30. ^_^ Nice and quiet though I'm such a 'social' person I guess that it's hard to go by more than a few hours without speaking a word or holding any conversation. lol! Oh, well, the tv kept me company. *wink!* Watched some random tv shows, watched a movie, and caught a new episode of Monk which was really nice since I hadn't seen it in a while.

It's getting late now and I'm ready for bed. ^_^ It was really such a nice day to be able to relax. Tomorrow afternoon I'm having my classmates from Japanese class come over so we can work on our poster presentation together for the International Festival (end of this month). I hope it all goes well and smoothly since we haven't had time to really plan out what we're going to do. :S Wish us luck!
