~It's Just Another Manic Monday~
Didn't have to walk to school today which was nice. ^_^ Naomi was able to drop me off to class and since I got there a bit early, Mr. Cassity, a few others, and I talked about last night's Academy Awards. :P Mr. Cassity actually watches a lot of movies so it's something common we have between us. ^_^
Finished up on the American Revolution so we're now learning about the French Revolution. VERY interesting stuff... I just LOVE history! So much fun. ^_^
Went home and discovered that they've put out the class schedules for the upcoming Summer and Fall semesters. Decided to start planning ahead about what kind of schedule I'll have. Lots of major decisions to make since I'm thinking about trying to graduate this Fall. It's actually coming together though I've discovered I actually need to take 7, not 6, more classes to graduate. But it might work out with my taking a summer internet course.
Picked Naomi and Maki up from their classes then they dropped me off at Nick and Heather's house because I was going to babysit the kids. Malia and Bella ate their lunch as soon as their mom left and went right to bed so I had a couple of hours to myself before Malia woke up. :P Heather came home around 3:00 and Naomi came to pick me up.
Did some homework then Naomi, Maki, and I left for Kahala Mall to watch a movie. However, I did a mistake with the showtimes... :P So what we did was we did a bit of clothes shopping them drove to Ward Theaters to catch the 5:30 showing of... 16 Blocks! ^_^ I've been very excited about seeing it; it has Bruce Willis! It was I guess in a way your 'average blockbuster' but still, it kept giving the audience little 'surprises' which made it very interesting. And enough can't be said about how GOOD Bruce Willis was! He wasn't his usual 'I'm-buff-and-witty-and-sarcastic-and-can-beat-up-any-bad-guy-who-gets-in-my-way" type of character. Instead he was an old guy with gray hair, kind of a pot belly, a limp, fairly quiet, and acts like a cop who actually looks like he's thinking and sorting things out... IN HIS HEAD! Pretty amazing, huh? A 'movie' cop who has depth. LOL!
Anyway, good movie. ^_^ Went home and made maboudoufu for dinner and watched an old B&W movie which was playing on tv: Rose Marie. It's about this girl and a Canadian Mountie who fall in love and guess what... they sing ~When I'm calling youuuuuuu~!! Just like in Dudley Do-Right! NOW I finally know what exactly Dudley Do-Right is making fun of. *snicker* I couldn't help laughing when I was watching the movie though the actor and actress were being so romantic and serious. :P
Finished answering up all the multiple choice questions for my History take home quiz; now I have to finish up the short essay which looks tough. :S I get to choose whether to talk about the stock market crash or how Herbert Hoover tried to get the country back on its feet. Hmmm... Off to bed now; tomorrow's another school day! Wonder if my Geography midterm results will be given... *wide-eyed look*
