Midterms Are Over!!
Hurray, I finished my laste midterm! ^_^ Woke up and got ready very fast and went to campus early so that I could study in the halls. Was able to help out some of my classmates who were having some trouble finding some historical information on the terms from our study guide. I think I did fairly well on the test; the only problem was that the time went by too quickly and I didn't have enough time to write down in the essay all that I wanted to write. Seriously, I did a lot of writing and my hand/arm was starting to cramp by the time Mr. Cassity had to kick the last people out of the classroom so the next class could come in. :P
Ah, well, soooo glad that that's over and done with. ^_^ Went home and wrote up my short essay for my History chapter quiz due tomorrow. Picked Naomi up and ate lunch while finishing up The Moonstone. Overall I thought it was a pretty good adaption of the book. However, I would still have to say that the book was better than the movie, just because the movie could not possibly contain everything that happened in the book. My recommendation is to read the book fifrst before watching the movie so that it won't ruin the mystery and the suspense.
Naomi and I then went out in the afternoon to go watch Ultraviolet at the movie theater. It was a bit disappointing since it wasn't as good as I was hoping it to be. Milla Jovovich was inredibly cool and the fight choreography was stunning; however, the storyline was hard to follow and by the end of the movie, I still didn't understand most of what had happened in the story. :P But still, the fight scenes were still VERY impressive. Gun kata... very cool. :P The only complaint is that certain fight scenes were too much like 'comic strips' and not 'realistic'.
Stopped by Nordtrom Rack for a little while then went home. Made mixed-Japanese-rice for dinner along with lots of leftovers. Helped out with the sign dance practice for the KCIS kids. It's coming along though it's hard to 'see' and know what's actually going on through a vidcam. Also, they still have to decide the order of the song so until that's done, I'm just putting out ideas here and there. Looking forward to seeing the 'finished dance'! ^_^
Watched Sahara while doing some things on the computer. Now I'm off to bed; last night I stayed up pretty late studying. :P Tomorrow is another day of school; Maki's going to do her theater monologue so I'm looking forward to seeing that! ^_^
