A Fun, Labor Day Holiday

Today is Labor Day so NO SCHOOL! It's a holiday, hurray! But that doesn't mean we were complete, lazy slob or anything. ^_^ lol! I relaxed a little in the morning then we had our weekly cleanup. It was 'supposed' to be done last Saturday but since we all had things going on, we just did it today instead. The floor's are sooo clean now!! It actually looks quite... 'shiny'.

I once more started working on my English essay but only got a little done before it was time for lunch. I made kimchee fried rice for myself and Maki while Erin and Naomi had other leftovers. After lunch, I put my whole mind on finishing the English essay. It's an essay on 'A Personal Experience' and as I may have mentioned I'm writing about filming Newsies. All right, I played Mahjonng a bit whenever I got stuck, but only one game at a time. :P It really helps though in keeping everything fresh. But anyway, it's done! Well, not exactly. I still have to round off the rough edgges but I always find it best when after I've done writing something, I leave it for the rest of the day and read over again tomorrow. It's good in getting a different outlook on it, even if it's only one day's difference.

I did a little bit of fanfiction writing then around 3:20 we left the house for Ward Theatres. ^_^ Yes, we went again, this time to see Transporter II. All I can say it was lots of fun and a very excellent movie (recommend for older kids and adults only). Jason Statham is notably the best thing about the movie; he bring such charisma to the screen and he makes all his stunts so realistic. It's no wonder he's called the 'British Jackie Chan', he's just athletically incredible (not to mention he's reaaaaaally cool...) :P And I can't forget to mention the car... he had an Audi at first but later on he had a very cool Lamborghini.

Stopped by Walmart to get some shopping done. Got some more beef jerky (I eat mine up so quickly... they're just so addictive!! :P). Since it was nearing 7:00 and I needed to be home for the video conference with the sign dance kids back in Japan, Naomi dropped Maki and I off before she and Erin went to Times Supermarket. As soon as I got online, Maria called me to help out. :P It seems they were having some problems with synchronizing but as soon as I told them they had no excuse for not synchronizing since they were near-perfect before I left, they did very well. There was some problems to work out during the practice but otherwise I think they're starting to get their act together. Less than a week till the performance; best of luck!

Didn't have dinner till later than we usually eat; sat down for dinne around 8:30. But it was all worth it because there was unagi and Naomi made harumaki!! Plus there was spicy, egg-drop soup which is one of my favorite 'home-made' soup.

After dinner, I taped and watched the season finale of 'The Closer'. It was a really good episode and had some hilarious scenes! One of my favorite lines were:

Provenza: (To the PHD team) Ok. We all know what's going on here. The smart move is to not get involved until the dust settles.
Flynn: Yeah. That's the smart move, alright. What's your idea?

Episode done, I went to my room and chatted with some people a bit and listened to my 'Movie Soundtrack' playlist. ^_^ One of my favorite playlists, besides 'Favorite 80's Music'.

I'm off to bed now. I've discovered I have 799 reviews for my Lord of the Rings fanfiction! Only one more to 800... so cloooooose... Anyway, tomorrow's school again though I'm actually looking forward to being in class again. ^_^ Has been a wonderful week, there's nothing to complain. Talk to you later!
