This morning I worked on completely, completing my final draft for my English assignment. I think I'll do all right, though I still don't know what the level is for writing in college. Got to class a little early so go to chat with Nichelle and Eric before class started. Today we had to fill out a sort of survey for the National Board of Colleges, or something like that. :P Basically just answering questions like what kind of work we do for the community, what kind of classes we take, what kind of volunteer work have we done, and etc. Filled it out very quickly.
Today's discussion was interesting though it's so unfortunate that only a few people are really getting into the discussion. I seriously would be bored to death if certain people besides Maki and I weren't in the class! We're having a quiz on fragments for next class so hoemwork is only studying for that and also reading a couple of short stories. We're already getting assignments for another essay hat day, too. :P Getting busy...
Naomi picked us up and for lunch I had leftover kimchee fried rice from yesterday's lunch at Big City Diner. Watched an episode of Full House and Just Shoot Me then went back to campus.
Next class was Math class and I got back my homework. ^_^ Only one mistake! Class was really confusing at first until we did this 'puzzle' which was REALLY interesting and lots of fun. 'Puzzle' as in a 'mind-bender' kind of puzzle. Once we started working on our handouts did what Mr. Astromoff had been teaching make sense. ^_^ So I finished the work quickly then parting ways with Maki, went off to the chapel for my ballet class.
I was the first one there and she gave me back my learning log essay, complimenting on how well and how 'serious' I was in writing it. :P Today was the day she gives everyone a 'project', or what to work on for the next two weeks so we could write it for the next learning log. She said that I've improved so well in all areas of what she's teaching so she didn't really have a project for me. She instead asked if there was something I wanted to learn or work on from my own side. I said that I wanted to lift my legs higher so she started giving me some exercises to do.
While watching me she suddenly asked how old I was. When I told her I was 18, she got so excited, saying that because girls' joints don't fully develop until they are in their early twenties, she said that I might be able to improve quite a bit in my turnout. After confirming how far I could do some specific stretches, she said that I had potential to get a lot better. She started wiggling her fingers at me, saying 'I can't wait to start working on you!' lol! It was kind of creepy/funny but I'm very excited. ^_^ Perhaps there is some hope for me in getting a little more flexible.
Class was good as usual; we started working more on 'performing' short dances which is lots of fun. A lot of people have a hard to remembering sequences but Imai-sensei (my dance teacher in Japan) taught me how to memeorize steps very quickly, which I'm very thankful for. We're also doing some more jumps which is a LOT more tiring than it looks! Gah... even now my legs are aching from the extra workout...

On the way home, we picked up Gina's Korean food. I got kalbi and BBQ chicken while Maki and Naomi got different foods. Since we all had work to do, we all ate in our own rooms while working on homework. For the next two hours I worked on my math homework. :P I know, it sounds really bad but it really wasn't that bad because the questions are fairly easy. The thing is, there were quite a few questions today and instead of only writing the answers, I have to also write how I got the answers. So it's just time consuming. Fun for me, though I couldn't possibly do this much math every day. :P
Next I finished up my Don Quixote ballet essay. Actually, I kind of finished it. The thing is, I could write soooooo much about the ballet that I'm going to ask Sharon just how long she wants us to write. :P I'm already on page three, and I've barely gotten started! I mean seriously, once you start on how the dance techniques of Baryshnikov and Cynthia Harvey,

Now I think I'm ready for bed. *yawn* Busy but fun day. Today was Emmy Rossum, Jason Statham and Paul Walker's birthday! So many birthdays so I won't get into putting their pictures.... ok, just a picture of Jason Statham. :P
Tomorrow should be 'slightly' stressful, quizzes for both History and ASL class. Wish me luck!
