The experiment worked! We left the air conditioner on in our room and Maki and I slept so well! I especially caught up on a lot of lost sleep; slept in soundly until 10:00. ^_^ In the morning I did assorted things like doing some e-mail then read a chapter in my ASL book for ASL homework. At 11:40, we left for Happy Day Chinese restaurant for a celebration lunch for Kenny and Debbie's wedding. They were married on Maui so when they came back, they wanted to get together with the people who couldn't make it to the wedding.

There were perhaps 80 people there, and it was nice because they were mostly church people whom I knew (that's Kenny and Debbie with us four girls in the picture on the right). The table we sat at was a 'fun' table; Joe and Merci, Croz, Tina, Ericson, and we four girls were seated together. We laughed so much together and all in all we really had a really great time. The food was delicious but there was just SOOO much of it! We hardly ate 1/3 of everything! Luckily we got to take home the leftovers. :P

<--Joe, Merci, and me After lunch, we stopped by the house to drop off our leftover food which we brought back from the lunch. When I went to check the mail... and my dvds that I had ordered from Tower Records arrived!! Hurray!! Unfortunately, we had to leave immediately for Ward Theaters so I couldn't open the box. :S

Met Aunt Jean at Ward Theaters and saw Brothers Grimm. I shall seriously give warning right here for those who may have been interested in seeing this movie. This is NOT for anyone under 16. Seriously, this was a very 'disturbing' movie. It's so unfortunate that it had to be that way because it had such great potential and the storyline was pretty good and there were some REALLY funny and good parts! But overall there were just too many... 'disturbing' elements. I seriously dissuade all kids to go see it, some kids were crying in the theater. :P

Got home and opened up my box of goodies. ^_^ First I watched some of the musical dance numbers in the Broadway show Fosse. REALLY outstanding, the dance company were superb of only the few dances I watched! Already my favorites are Crunchy Granola Suite, I Wanna Be a Dancin' Man, and Sing, Sing, Sing. I'm going to have to make some time to watch the whole show through in one sitting (it's over a two hours long).
After watching those dance numbers I worked on my ASL homework which was to write a short essay on what I thought of the chapter I had read for homework. I made short work of that.

It was getting late, around 7:00, so we all decided to eat leftovers for dinner. I started watching the other dvd I got, Much Ado About Nothing, the version starring Sam Waterston (from L&O). He's soooo young in this Broadway adaption of Shakespeare's classic! He plays my favorite character, Benedict, so how could I not like him? :P
Midway, I paused watching because Erin and Maki started practicing for the worship for our service tomorrow morning. I went to my room and read Entertainment Weekly. After Erin and Maki were done, I finished watching Much Ado About Nothing. It's actually almost better than the version with Kenneth Brannagh. First of all, the only overdone acting in the older version is done by the character of Don John. Otherwise, the acting was superb.
I got to chat with Maria and it seems that everyone had a fun time at camp! I'm looking forward to seeing all the pictures!
Well, it's getting late and we're having an early morning service tomorrow morning. Good night y'all! Sleep tight!
