Strange, Feels Like Monday Again...

Today felt like Monday again... hmmm... :P Woke up fairly early so I actually 'cooked' breakfast of eggs and hash; ate while watching an episode of L&O. I printed out my English homework then Maki and I left for English class. It was really funny because a lot of people were absent; probably because today was the first day to bring in a report. lol! Today we only had to bring a first draft so we traded reports then had to fill out a questionnaire about your thoughts on the other person's report.

I traded essays with Nichelle and I really like what she wrote. She told about her grandfather and how his death affected her. Because both my grandfathers have passed away, I could really understand all that she had went through so afterwards she and I were able to talk about it. She said she also liked my report so I'm glad. Whew! I was worried that it wasn't interesting enough.

After that, Mrs. G. talked about an upcoming quiz which will be in a few weeks. I don't think it'll be too difficult, mostly correcting fragments, comma-splices, and incomplete sentences and such. We'll see though.

Went home and while eating leftovers watched the 'edited' version of Die Hard 3 which was showing on tv. The language is really bad but fortunately, on tv it takes out all the bad language so it's actually a fun movie without having to wince every time someone curses. ^_^ Otherwise, I wouldn't watch it at all...

I went over my math homework a bit though I kind of gave up on one of the Venn diagrams; too complicated and I didn't want to go through the whole process of figuring it out again. So I just hoped that I got at least most of it correct. :P

Got to Math class and today's class was fun as usual. Later I would talk to my friend of ballet class who had taken Mr. Astromoff's class last semester. She says his class doesn't get too much harder so I'm happy! Maybe I'll continue to enjoy his class! We went over some more logic as well as statements, negations, and problems that can be solved using these processes. Finished early again so I got to my ballet class forty-five minutes before it started.

The only other people there were Sharon and Nichelle so we were able to talk quite a bit. Sharon has some really interesting stories to share about all kinds of dance. As for Nichelle, we're getting to know each other a lot more so I'm getting comfortable in talking to her more than before. A few people weren't in class again today; perhaps they've dropped out. Class was fun because we mostly did barre work and some floor exercises. She taught us a few stretches to strengthen the ankles and it's so easy that you can do it pretty much anywhere. At home, in class, at the dinner table, etc. :P

It was pretty interesting because throughout the whole class, we heard sirens outside and wondered what was going on. When class finished and we looked out, we found out that there was a brushfire on Diamond Head! While Naomi was driving Erin and me home, we could see the fire and the smoke; also a helicopter and lots of police cars. It was really crowded because one of the streets had to be closed off. Classes had just finished so it was especially crowded what with college students trying to leave the campus.

Got home and did my math homework. Really easy so it didn't take mt too long. Wrote a few e-mails and other random things and before I knew it, it was time for dinner. Naomi and Maki had cooked hamburgers so it was make-your-own-burger night. Yummm!

Right after dinner Naomi, Maki and I walked down to Blockbusters (Erin was still in class). Naomi and I both borrowed something then we all walked back home. I did a little bit of writing then watched an episode of Moonlighting. I also watched one of the special features video about how the show became such a success. It was funny seeing how different the actors back then look right now. :P

Well, that's about it on what happened today. I'm going to read a bit then go to bed. Good night! And for the KCIS students, good luck in school and sign dance!!!
