Yesterday's Blog

Sorry I didn't get to write yesterday's blog. Got home kind of late and my computer was acting all strange so I didn't have time to post a blog. So this is what happened yesterday.

Woke up a little early this morning so I could get ready to go to the campus for my ballet performance. Every year the college puts up a 'show' where students from different performing art classes do some kind of performances (ballet class, modern dance class, hula class, acing class, etc.). Had to be there from 9:45 since the show started from 10:00 and my ballet class was performing first. Naomi and Maki were nice enough to come along and they took videos and pictures for me. ^_^ The dance finished soooo quickly, it was kind of an odd feeling. One minute we went up there, the music started, and was over... just like that! I didn't make any mistakes so that was good. (I have a lot more pictures but these are the 'best' (I think...)).

I didn't get to stay for the rest of the performance and had to go to my ASL teacher's office for my ASL final. It was only about 15 minutes; fairly easy though I did a little mistake on naming the Hawaiian island 'Lanai'. :P Oh, well... I'll just have to see how well I did!

While Naomi took her ASL final after me, I went home to pick up some of my schoolbooks that I wanted to sell back to the campus bookstore. Went to the bookstore and got a pretty good deal for the books. Naomi met me inside and we both picked up college sweatshirts as Christmas presents from our parents. ^_^ Can't wait to go home and wear my sweatshirt to show that I'm not a college girl! lol!

Ate lunch and watched some Hogan's Heroes then started to work on my ballet written paper. I wasn't feeling too well (had a headache) so I decided to lay down for a little bit... before I knew it, I had slept over an hour! Got up feeling much better then did some more internet browsing.

All four of us went to the Friday Night service, though Naomi was doing nursery. It was nice seeing everyone again since I haven't been to Kaimuki church in about two weeks. Pastor Ron talked some more about the Narnia series, mostly focusing on 'Turkish Delights' and how it is a good example of our sin and temptations in our lives.

After the service, dropped Erin off at home (she was tired since she had a long day at her internship job) and the three of us went to eat Kyoto ramen. Christi, Brandon, Matt, and Ardell met us there and we had a nice dinner. The conversations were really serious though, talking about Christianity and questions about the phsycial realm and the spiritual realm. I was able to discuss a bit though I was mostly listening (the food was too good...). :P

When I came home, my computer was acting all weird so Daddy called and was nice enough to help me out (it turned out all right; I guess it was a one time thing I hope...).

And now it's today! I'll tell you all about my 'fascinating' Saturday later on. Ta ta!
